Hi guys, I am a 3rd year UTP student studying Chemical Engineering.
I would like to humbly ask about the opportuinities of a Chemical Engineering fresh grad working in KL. Are there any departments in KLCC that hires fresh grads for CE?
FYI, I don't mind working in a more non-technical department compared to working in plants, refineries, etc.
Thanks and thanks again.

QUOTE(azraeil @ Jun 19 2013, 01:10 PM) You can always try for Petroleum Engineering or Reservoir Engineering BUT, you will face competition with those who has a Petroleum Engineering degree. 7-8 years ago, Petronas was still taking in Chem E student and converting them to PE due to the shortage of people doing PE degrees. Now with UTP and a lot of students coming back with PE degrees, I think it would be difficult now but then again, I may be wrong. Hi, thanks for your reply. yeah and i heard that the RAPID project is postponed, so the opportuinites of CEs in petronas have lessened dramatically as well. Anyway i would like to venture in OnG with Petronas, preferabally based in KLCC. As I am taking final OnG upstream as my major, i hope that helps QUOTE(klein @ Jun 19 2013, 09:46 PM) If you wish to do something that is commercial/ less technical, there are many options for you such as supply chain management (also known as sendiri mahu sendiri order ), risk management, HSE, operational excellence, knowledge management etc Hello. thanks for your advice. is there any specific department that you can recommend of? etc PETRONAS Dagangan, PCG etc?
