I went to their SI and have received the job offer. My advice is think fast for answers and be honest about yourself. And read everything shared in this thread; it's very helpful and useful

hey guys. I've just got an offer from Petronas today but I couldn't find anything about the bonus and increment in the offer letter? are the bonus and increment all performance based?

I was told to go to PIPE first at 1st nov and report for duty at PML afterward. Just done medical check up though. You dont have to attend PIPE?

Yup. It's a simple math.

After 1 year (let say there's no increment):

Tier 3 in peninsular: rm4000

Tier 2 in east msia: rm4000 + rm800 (tech allowance) + rm 400 (EM allowance)

Difference: rm1200.

EM allowance you will get it immediately.

If you read the previous post, I don't believe so.

Tier 1 : Geologist/Geophysicist, Reservoir/Petroleum Engineers, Drilling Engineers (Basically SKG09 & SKG10)
Tier 2: Mechanical engineering etc
Tier 3: All others such as HRs/Finance etc.

After all, technical people are more important to an O&G company. They decide where to drill the well and whatnot. PETRONAS is not an accounting firm or a financial institution.
