QUOTE(corejack_69 @ Jun 20 2013, 04:47 PM) Hai, Does anyone knows anything about Technology & Engineering division (T&E)? I was told it was under Petronas holdings. I'll be joining PIPE in Sept' 13. Tx. im doing my intern last time in that division, under Group Technical Solution (GTS). currently most of the depts in this division are placed at dayabumi.

QUOTE(corejack_69 @ Jun 20 2013, 10:53 PM) I thought is under GTCOMM (Group technological and commercialisation management) which is in KLCC? So, how's the working environment there? depends. because T&E is a big division. but let say you are placed at GTS dayabumi, you should be thankful for having a less hectic life compared to those in KLCC. and yes, the food is cheaper. working environment? differs from each depts. so i can't really tell. the cons of working in dayabumi is just that the place is kinda boring.

QUOTE(azraeil @ Jul 17 2013, 01:42 PM) Petronas HR is just a slow poke. My brother who was a Petronas scholar had to wait until 5 months after he returned before they called for an SI. I had to intervene and used my network to prod these slow pokes before he got called. Nothing moves an HR faster than receiving an enquiry email from an SGM. They act like mice with a cat growling behind their ass. It took another 6 weeks before they came up with the offer letter ... my brother finally reported for duty yesterday. After 7 bulan menganggur. Now this is a Petronas scholar doing geosceince with 3.75 CGPA .... I have the mind to smack these slow pokes. indeed. even one of my friend recommended through SI, got call from Petronas for availability, and its already almost two months, she still didn't receive her offer letter. seems like a Mara scholared student like me don't have a chance to start up my career with Petronas.

QUOTE(azraeil @ Sep 10 2013, 03:15 PM) Never wait for Petronas to call you, make other plans and if it happens, it happens. Ask yogurt7, it took him like 9 months before he finally landed the job .... now he's assigned for overseas assignment ... sweet. I know those blue eyed blonde hair ladies for that overseas psoting are cute .... apa lagi ..... lol i am. thank god i already secured a stable job. no offence but petronas HR is pretty slow i guess.
