Hi,

You mean u are in a HR department? And civil engineering usually deal with "management of projects", instead of designing stuff? What's "Integrity engineering department?"

Nope..im not working with pet, im working with contractor, most project my company undertaken is under integrity engineering department (BIE)or BAM sometimes fyi for sarawak side every department starts with 'B'.. Contract holders of civil eng. project usually held by civil engineers in petronas. I could be wrong, maybe other departments also have civil engineers..just speaking through my experience only.

Hmm..was wondering what does the civil engineers do in Petronas. Whether more to design or more to management etc.

I visited Petronas website.http://discoverpetronas.com/experienced_professionals/careeropportunities/jobareas.aspx

Is it under "Project management?" Do engineers with 1.5 years experience enter into management line? Thanks!!!

IMHO, Project management is not a 'management' of the Company itself. It is more on Projects handling & monitoring for Specific Project that assigned to you. Anyway, the chances to get in the 'management line' is higher than others. Project Engineer Post will be under Project Management.

Hi,

Are you in Pet? So you mean that, if i try to apply, i will get into management line (not the project management) as civil engineer?

What's HUC? Is it possible to work in the KLCC office as consultant etc, without going offshore?
