You should try contact the HR. I already got a call from HR (SBO) last Thursday. She said I passed the interview and I need to wait from HR (KLCC) to prepare the offer letter. FYI, I also did my SI in August.

there's a lot of business grad in petronas, not just engineering..just upload your resume to discoverpetronas, that's how most of us got the offer.
I believe they already mention when and where to submit those forms in the offer letter..check again.

I called them every two weeks and their answer is please wait for us to call you. I dont know if I should call again in two weeks time. Should I? The waiting period is so long

I was told to puasa before my medical check up. However, that morning, I chewed 1 tiny chewing gun and the nurses upon knowing that said my act  could potentially cause me to fail my blood test because of higher sugar content.

they said if i fail, i have to retake the blood test and cover the expense for that particular test on my own  that clinic is known to be expensive   

wow. 5 months?? 

good la.. i also wished i could just wait but at last, signed another offer.. now, headache thinking of resigning and facing my supervisor

I faced the same situation too, except that I had had a job offer waiting for me to sign immediately. I eventually signed that offer and worked for a month plus before I tendered my resignation recently. The employers cannot stop you from resigning, as long as you fulfill the T&C. It is only true that it is hard to attend interviews when you have a job, but since you have already attended SI, there is anything to worry about except taking leave for medical check up.

Just continue hunting for other jobs while waiting.

Added on October 28, 2012, 11:41 amHey guys.. in the summary of benefits extracted from Executive Handbook sent to me along with my offer letter, it states that an executive who is based in East Malaysia will be paid a monthly EM allowance at 10% of his/ her basic salary. I am wondering does it also apply to East Malaysians who are working in EM? Or it is limited to those West Malaysians who relocate to EM?
