Most people I know gets the offer letter the next working day, because usually once they sent you for medical they already have the offer letter ready, just holding for the medical result. But my case is different, I only receive news a week after, even after I emailed her asking about it. Considering you're being handled by the same person as me, I'm not sure. Maybe you get it today, maybe in a week. Contact her if you don't heard anything after a few days.

I think you'll get it tomorrow, maybe it was just my luck, everything gets delayed for me this year don't know why.

They'll send you by email. If you agree you can pick it up the next day.

in my case....it's already been 2 months since i received my SI result.
the hr personal told me that the currently putting medical check up form on hold due to some reason that they not telling.

So did you get the offer letter already? Better follow up today with the HR person to see if he/she got the medical checkup report that you passed to his/her colleague.

HR wants me to start on June 17 reporting straight to PIPE, but I want to start July 1. Is it possible to postpone the start date? Emailed and called HR but they're out of office though.

I know they do PIPE serveral sessions every year. But is PIPE mandatory before commencing the real work? Can I start working first and then attend PIPE later? The reason I ask is that if the answer is no, then I'll know I have no chance to postpone my start date, they won't postpone the PIPE just because of me (unless they do it every 2 weeks, doubtful).

They will email the result to HR on the spot, but the full report will be delivered physically to HR later. PETRONAS' internal doctor will review the full report and give final approval. Should the be no problem with you health, you'll get the offer letter the next working day or a week later, depending on the HR personnel that handles your employment.

HR called me saying that she is waiting approval from my future-to-be boss,  general manager and CEO. Doesn't that mean it is very likely I will get the job?
My job scope main deals with documentation and data management. She also says that I need to attend medical check-up report at appointed hospital. My cholesterol is slightly higher above benchmark which my doctor said was okay early of this year. Will I not be given with this offer if my cholesterol is still at the current index? Kind of worried here, did not want the opportunity to slip away again.

So how much weight have you lost bro? Before the checkup (2-3 day) always check your blood pressure .... make sure they are stable also. And need to relax when you go for the medical checkup ... Rabbi Yassir Wala Tuassir .... calm and collected and your blood pressure will refelect that. No sugar, no fatty foods, eat Oats and no smoking ..... ohh BP is always higher in the afternoon I think, so try and do the med checkup in the morning.

But on my list, they stated that below 5years, EPF from employer is only 7%. after 5 years, 13% if im not mistaken. why so low??????!

Contacted(phone) by the Petronas, being offered different post (contract basis, not direct hire). They asked me if its able for me to join them on 16 May 2013. Since I hv to gv 1month-resignation-tender, so I politely discuss with them about any possibilities to register on 1st of June (it will be 2nd June @ Kerteh, working Sunday).

I called them asking the status, since Im waiting for their Offer Letter to be attached with the resignation letter and I need 1month-resignation-tender to be submitted on 30th April, next Tuesday. 1st May (Wed) will be the starting date of my resignation period. Petronas`s HR ("Ms.A") told me that the HR management will manage the offering prosess (salary/date of registration etc) as soon as possible probably this week and will contact me by phone.

Still patiently waiting for the official offer letter. Oh and before that, HR do mentioned about maybe somebody from her office will call me to discuss about salary.

Patiently waiting. It just 1 month since the SI session but it feels like AGES

may I know the leadtime(in days) from HR to contact us to set up SI upon successful TA??

Like my case i just get informed by the petronas HR that ive passed my SI but then again the HR asked me to print screen on the declaration of releasing my cv at discoverpetronas.com as proof and email back to them in order to assist them in finalizing the position for employment pack approval.

Could anyone please advice and pls share who has experienced like above.

Does the placement is guaranteed ? Now getting worried caused I have resigned from my current company and hoping to join Petronas. huhuh..

I did my pre employment med check up last week. The doc didn't tick at the "fit for employment" neither "not fit for employment". He just remark me with " fit if consider by health advisor". I have thyroid problem. Does this affect my employment? I'm afraid that i will be rejected

so it is normal for petronas to released the result for 2 monts at least ??? that's too long I wanted to move from my current job
