Hi, just received my Ocean Blue 1.3 advanced last week.

Have issue where the rear usb at the console not working/no power after 3 times light usage to charge phone.

Any idea how to fix this?

just my point of view...
i speed but not for speed sake, but mainly to keep up with the crowd and not road hog...
so, i do keep up with traffic depending on which lane i'm in.

the bezza 1,3 auto x has a big jump in terms of gear ratio from 3rd to 4th gear.
it makes for good cruising speed vs rpm but as per these eco cars, they are programmed to change up gears asap...
thus in certain driving conditions, ie. highway with moderate to mid high amounts of traffic around, i find that sometimes the car is travelling at about 60-70 kph in 4th gear and the rpm is below 2000rpm...
there's not much power at this band width to accelerate the car to a faster lane and if i do change to a faster lane, i can only accelerate at a 'crawl' (imo).
so, what i find is that if i change the gear selector to 3rd at times like these, it makes driving in a 'cut and thrust' technique of maneuvering within the confines of KL drives much more drivable... (if there's such a word).

when i've reached 70-80 kph, i will then change up to 4th gear and the car will then be above 2000+ rpm and within the power band to continue to accelerate or start the cruise...

this follows the school of thought where by you accelerate to cruising as soon as possible to attain the the most economical condition/speed/range, ie, start the cruise early to attain the longest time in cruise attitude...
(of course dont need to pedal to the metal laaa)

the above versus accelerating at the most minimal possible till cruising speed.

just my opinion... and learning the car's idiosyncrasies...

post script: am happy the the rpm/kmh of this cars 4th gear for a 1.3 engine...
or mabbe i havent been around other newer 1.3 engines...

just got rid of a wira 1.5 auto and that car's horrendous rpm/kmh ratio...
just sold the alfa romeo 156 sportwagon 2.0 selespeed
have a nissan sylphy 2.0 with cvt gearbox.. (my long distance cruiser, and a damn quiet car, internally)

Hey everyone, 1.0 Basic Red owner here checking in..
since last November.

Quick question, I want to do maintenance charge on my car battery, will there be any issues if I disconnect battery from car?... used to drive an old iswara before this with no ecu electrical things etc so not sure about newer cars with electronically critical systems.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Thanks for the detailed review. I agree with you on accelerating up to speed as soon as possible. I prefer cruising and maintaining speed for as long as possible once reached.

Definitely effective in long stretches (coming out of rest stops into highway). If in city, i find gentle acceleration more efficient.

Cruise control normally accelerates quite hard to reach set speed.

Why do you want to take the battery off?

I don't think there's any major negative effect apart from your clocks resetting.

If it's the wiper cowl, it's seems to be a fitting issue. Can you rattle the cowl with your fingers? Or does the sound change when your wipers are on?

Mine the rattling sound came from behind ,left side passenger seat. After removing the jack and everything still remain though

Is the sound coming from the seatbelt side? Or the chair side?

I would probably try to move the passenger seat all the way back in "relax" mode and try to listen.

Or is it the rear passenger seat split folding latch? That usually they tape the metal part right?
