Yeah... there are a few enchants/gems that I'm not happy about

And then I've got to balance the fact that some of these blues will be quickly replaced when raid gear starts dropping with the cost of these gems and enchants... don't know if you can tell but a lot of my gear is just quest drops.

lucky you. I have a lock (now given to my brother) and a pally (switched with brother), downed prince 3rd time coming and all i got is a lousy neck from prince for the lock and a hammer from maiden for the pally.

10 min for me but WoW down for patch. Bah!

Now have to lurk in other games elsewhere.

lol..we lost rite? Last nite was first time trying 5v5...damn difficult..so many teams we go up againts...all wearing T4

actually, a lot of the higher teams are wearing 2-3 pcs gladiator
we're just 3 weeks into arena-ing, got my chest piece today^^ slowly catching up hopefully!

we're only 3rd ish week too, i got my glove and next week can get another piece.

gear of opposing was never really the problem, its the infamous pally warrior combo being retardedly overpowered in arenas. (check out the stats for top tiered arena teams, 90+% of them includes pally + warrior in both 2v2/3v3/5v5)

Which team are you in? cos when we play at nite..alot of teams with chinese/malaysian sounding names

Im a pally, and i feel overpowered in Arena i just stand and heal...and heal.....and heal...no one even bothers trying to kill a pally. The 10 sec bubble...games are won and lost based on when u bubble and get that crucial 10 sec of uberness

my poor priest and shaman frens....all get raped in arena...hehehe

it's actually a problem when u face higher ranked team with 2-3 pcs min gladiator pieces, on top of them having warr / pally / lock / mage. Dont really play 2v2 or 3v3 because 5v5 gives the most points. And with most teams having a priest, the bubble / iceblock invul is easily negated :S

Pally is not really overpowered if the opposing team manage to silence and lock your casting school down

problem is, against good teams the priest is only gonna last just a few seconds lol. not sure if you can mass dispel in spirit of redemption though, if cant, QQ lol.

and the main reason i do 2v2/3v3 is cuz i dont have another 2-3 consistant players to pvp with

mind control the warrior.. then start hitting the pally with the war and ur teammate.. force him to bubble early..

or kite them to vael room.

actually, with good teams u rarely see them go for the priest first~ it's either the warlock / mage or hunter that gets hit. leave a warlock alone he'll cc ur pally and rape the rest, leave a mage alone, he'll counterspell and assist burst when the warrior calls out target, leave the hunter alone...

we've been playing vs some teams on the top 40 and most of them tend to go for our mage or hunter, for the exception of one team that cheesed us with 2 warriors + 1 shaman bloodlust and offensive purge. We left the shaman untouched when we lost but when we met them again, killing the shaman meant that they couldnt burst down our priest. With enough resilience, our priest usually can survive quite a bit as long as i'm healing him.

if the dps is really good and the opposition's healer or half the healers are cc'ed, then it is possible. if not, 2 healer healing 1 guy with buffs/cleanse etc etc will just make things worst. same could be said of going your method, but instead, it will be the priest/shaman/druid/paladin spamming their heals to no end.

if ur on healer, they have to move/self heal (while being interrupted/pushbacks etc) and remove debuff where applicable.

both method has their pros and cons and its really up to the team's ultilization to make the best of each method.

yea but thru our 5v5s so far, it's next to impossible to go for the priest and let the dps classes run loose~ maybe against lesser geared priests with minimal resilience yes, but with the ones on the 2nd page of the 5v5 ladder, doesnt really work :S

with that i think the difference between our groups is that ur groups have more healing power to outlast opposition's healing, while ours have more dps but lack on healing power so we need to finish things quicker without healers prolonging the fight.

i can only say based on 5v5 experience tho~ so maybe yeah your 3v3 fights may be able to burst down a priest. But for 5v5 vs higher ranked teams decked out with 2-3 pcs gladiator minimum, priest being targetted first is a super rare occurence~ I know my team would be happy if our priest is being FF-ed and we heal thru it (me and himself) while our 3 dps burst down their mage / lock / hunter~

hehe ive also did a fair share of 5v5's, almost reached 1.6k rating too. but sadly its only a week occurance and even then our team setup was sub-par at best.

Ya dude, people always hentam me first whenever I play my warlock in arenas. Geram I specced soul link (no felguard mind you) and stacked stamina gear. Now my unbuffed health is 10.8k and climbing.

just got back from australia. 7-800 ping makes it hard to play ~.~(from 1700+ rating to 1500+ in less than an hour 2v2). Recently made a dragonmaw for pvp but probably gonna quit and cash out if high latency continues.

Which guilds are in BG9? we shud maybe set a time frame or even an irc channel for us azn bg9 ppl so we can arena queue and have a frenly game.

Would b quite awesome if 5 ppl in a team were sitting in a row in a CC playing. Superb communication.
