I really doubt those most of those queuing up for Hokkaido cheese tart are part of the 3 out of 4.
BNM statistic is after Malaysians as a whole, not those who work and live in richer parts of Klang Valley. You don't see stuff like this much in Shah Alam where many lower tier civil servants are based in.
I kinda disagree because i have seen a lot like this in real life. A few of my ex colleagues(male and female) who dress nicely, go travel to europe at least twice a year only have like less than 500 in their bank acc left monthly. Sometime still have to borrow other ppl's money to survive the rest of the month before salary is out. They also have plenty of personal loan to settle. Their lifestyle and spending ie: buy branded stuff (lv & prada), queuing up for cheese tart etc etc.. giveppl the impression that they are so well of, beyond their actual capabilities.
While for me, i had to think twice before commiting any loan. And always aim to keep my monthly loan commitment within 10-15 % of my salary. And saving 50% of my salary. But honestly Instead of saving, better find way to earn more..
Actually for emergency, 1k mana cukup..
