you should know that there are some ultra kiasu auntie unkers in small village who owned acres of estates and properties, and thier application for BRIM usually went success, same goes to their children who applied PTPTN just because of the 1% low interest, the PTPTN loan has long been abused by rich parents to earn the free interest by spending the spare cash in investments or FD

of course this population is little compared to the rest, but rest assured, there are significant families from kampung are really cash rich, due to inheritance from generations ago, or family business, or underground business, these fortunes are not known by government
