Also, Claps vaporise juice much more "efficiently" than normal coils (once you get over the initial ramp up phase), and hence you'll need to keep in mind two more things beside them needing more power: Vapour Output (Claps hit harder Nic-wise, and flavour-wise) and (of course) Juice Use (Claps suck juice like no tomorrow).

So health-wise, you'll just get an extra dose of everything due to the increased concentration of the vapour produced. Whether that's bad or not, unfortunately we aren't entirely sure.

Case in point, I ran out of smoothly spooled SS316L last Friday (the backup I had was... for the lack of a better word... "kinky") and decided to stuff dual SS Fused Claps into my Kylin. With enough preheat dialed in (to cancel the ramp up) the 2ml tank of the Kylin was bone dry within 15-20 minutes of Vaping - and the battery took a considerable hit as well.

Sure the it hit really hard and flavor was awesome, but no it wasn't an ADV setup for sure, at least not on the single-cell Nano.

So when I got my replacement Ammit Dual (to replace my "pissy"  Kylin), I went back to a normal dual spaced SS coil and everything was right with the world again lol.

And yes, my Ammit Dual is STILL not at all "pissy" like my Kylin was, even after nearly a week of use. I get some seeping condensation and that's about it so far. Hopefully that's as bad as it gets.

If you're looking for a PodMod, however, I recommend the Cync over the MyJet if not just for the fact that my MyJet is dead while my Cync isn't.

Yep the Cync can be refilled, BUT it can't be rewicked (like the MyJet). I got it from auctions for cheap, not sure if it's still doing the rounds on FB though. IINM that Vape Shop in Publika (don't remember the name) does stock it, as does VapeBoss. The pods only come in 6MG however, but I have some Halo Tribeca in 24mg to refill mine with later.

If you're interested, there's actually 3 versions of the Cync: Short, Long (the one I have) and "Stealth" (the "extra thick" one).

Not that I know of, unfortunately. "Normal" high-nic juice (especially Tobac flavors) should be enough edi for for stealthing, though it's not as smooth (or as easily absorbed) as Nic Salts-based juice.

Hell, even the ori 6MG pod I have on the Cync (yes I STILL haven't finished the initial one lol) is plenty for emergencies. A few long puffs and I'm good for a bit edi.

If you're still interested in juice with Nic Salts though, ordering from abroad (and running the customs roulette) is probably the only way... but alang-alang like that better just try to get a Juul lol.

Another year passes over, and it seems it's my trusty ePetai's turn to hit the dust. After a few weeks of wonkiness (self-adjusting temps, "auto"-locking) which comes and goes away, it has finally gone full retard now and my brain aches trying to deal with the wonkiness.

That's okay, I have the Nano as backup, right? Well, unfortunately the Nano's back in work base... and it has become quite wonky as well. Which isn't entirely surprising as Nanos are known to suffer from oxidisation-related contact issues, besides the butter-soft battery cover threads and the crap screws securing the DNA board.

With all that in mind (and the fact that "recovering" the Nano was gonna need some work which I'm not really in the mood for), of course the only thing left to do was to get another mod. Thus:



The S-Body Macro DNA75... aka the one I skipped over to get the ePetai back then. And damn, is this thing TINY, even compared to the ePetai.

And thankfully I got a good one, considering that the battery door isn't TOO loose and the buttons are only the littlest bit rattly. Hopefully this one lasts at least a year without going the way of the dodo lol.

And no, I've already had a whole lifetime of squonking during my Vapage V2 days, so yeah I'm skipping the whole squonking "revival" thing lol. Just too much hassle for a tad more flavor for me.
