True boh. This guy know a course that can make money but I don't think he knows how hard it is to pass. It might not be as hard as become chartered accountant but it's high standard

OP if easy, many already in the field. But do your best anyway.

Let me rephased.. 'If it is so easy to pass exam etc, the field would already be over saturated. Hence, you should not think it's so easy that you can be a certified green-book safety officer without hardwork and dedication'

My England ok? biggrin.gif

I met an old friend before who decided not to take-up safety officer despite the pay raise as he is not confident of passing exam and later, might even go to court if building that he inspect and approve got defect/injure someone.

Anyway if you serious just get into OSHA field, some can even enter by being an electrical engineer. Look up the requirement of green book online.

minimum requirement, spm, take 22 days course, sit for 4 papers within 2 years, passing quota is 20%, if fail take again until pass, minimum related working experience 3 years.

for ur own benefit, better to have engineering or safety diploma / degree.

Aku cakap awal la

Nak dapat kerja SHO sekarang susah, competition tinggi and ramai sanggup gaji rendah asalkan dapat makan

Aku suggest baik kau buat course lain

Now SHO nak demand pun dah payah, gaji pun sekarang korang dah kena lowball pasal banyak gila orang dah ada greenbook and NEBOSH dan ramai nak cari makan for the sake of survival je

Ikhlas, bro kerja OnG

3 years experience despite your course and exam completion date. For SSS, it's 2 years. After gaining the experience and completing your exams, you may go apply for your green card for SHO or yellow card for SSS. You will be interviewed and you will have to show your 2 or 3 years documents of your work (related to safety, of course).
