Just bought a brand new P2 from seven mobile (@ damansara) but when i check warranty status (@lenovo companion) only left 100 days. Is it meaning my phone already being activated last year or i bought a 2nd hand phone but sell as brand new one? how this warranty status counted ya

For the warranty status, you can check it thru the built in app called Lenovo Companion. Got warranty section that can reveal how many days left. Mine just bought 25 Jan and will expired this May. Seems that both of us got warranty problem. Like what @azhar75 mention, will try to call Lenovo call center and try to verify this warranty status.
dont worry, i hv applied for unlocking bootloader yesterday, after 14 days warranty period has nothing to do with me anymore

azhar75 have u tried snap camera hdr? i'm comparing this app and some other camera app like 1+5T, lineage stock cam, google cam and open cam. the snap cam having at least triple the file size (6mb and above) of others under LOS 14.1. just want to confirm if its same with the stock rom.
end up back to stock rom 251 with magma kernel and underclock a little bit. almost same apps installed and usage like LOS14.1 and Resurrection Remix 6.0. no bluetooth power draining problem in stock rom

Am considering either a Xiaomi Redmi 5 plus or Lenovo P2.
For Lenovo P2, understand the price is >$1k+ but noticed that there are 2 online sellers with much lower price.
Can anyone tell me whether its safe to buy from them? I think buying from Lazada is safe but what if they are sellers from Mudah and Shopee? Also, is there any problem buying from Shopee?
i bought a unit from this company through Shopee last month. this is my 2nd unit of P2. everthything works fine. unlocked,rooted, flashed custom rom,gcam with night mode ... main phone during working hours and act as wifi hotspot after working. battery hardly can go below 40% b4 1am, after 4 hours of hotspot and 4 hour of SOT. P2 is running full time LTE+ during hotspot with digi i150. oh yeah..it has dual band wifi, so i'm always using its 5ghz band for hotspot sharing.

no, its local stock. this set's serial number even older than the my 1st set bought 1 yr ago. not sure y this company still keeping 2 yrs old stock, sealed set lagi , but luckily the battery life is still healty.

Latest Resurrection Remix 7.0.2 android Pie rom rooted with magisk hide can use maybank app without problem. if this is the 1st device that u used to learn to unlock, root, flashing custom rom...its not recommended if this is ur only main phone.

Yes, in RR Pie rom fast charging is working, but so far LOS 16 is not yet..now even with any USB connection with fast charging mode...but i have not tested it.

What's the average SOT u guys getting now? Vs when u first bought the device?
my P2 bought on early January 2018. it was rooted, flashed, tortured to the max and now back to stock firmware and unrooted. SOT now i think is around 8-9 hrs, not really sure because start using it as wifi hotspot device since 3 months ago. for full hotspot usage close to 9 hrs refer picture below

main device change to mi max 2, larger screen with almost same SOT.
not much different i think, maybe 1-2 hrs SOT lesser since the recharging cycle is lesser compared to other device which need to recharge at least twice a day or once a day. oh yeah, forgot to mention, while i was using it as main device also hotspot-ing after office hour and whole day of weekend. so even my unit was late in use abt 2 yrs (was also built in 2016, but retailer keep in storeroom), i dont think my unit was used gently compared to other
