Its really good specs and worth the price if one can get it at $500-$600+ . Plus it supposedly supports both 2.4 and 5GHz unlike some of Xiaomi phones (eg: Redmi 7 doesn't support 5GHz band). [although there have been some complaints that it cannot detect 5GHz at times and some had to do a full hard reset to solve the 5GHz issue]

Yes. Really like the specs and the large battery. Don't know about newer model though but they are not producing anymore P series. One thing though, Lenovo tend to have problem with Waze as compared to Xiaomi

my P2 bought on early January 2018. it was rooted, flashed, tortured to the max and now back to stock firmware and unrooted.
SOT now i think is around 8-9 hrs, not really sure because start using it as wifi hotspot device since 3 months ago. for full hotspot usage close to 9 hrs refer picture below


main device change to mi max 2, larger screen with almost same SOT.

not much different i think, maybe 1-2 hrs SOT lesser since the recharging cycle is lesser compared to other device which need to recharge at least twice a day or once a day. oh yeah, forgot to mention, while i was using it as main device also hotspot-ing after office hour and whole day of weekend. so even my unit was late in use abt 2 yrs (was also built in 2016, but retailer keep in storeroom), i dont think my unit was used gently compared to other
