Guys I got some good news. I finally able to install tempered glass without the annoying halos. Our p2 screens is over tighten!!! I open up the back plastic cover and loosen up the screws a bit and the halos are gone, all sides. But careful though you may scratch the plastic covers if you are not careful. Those who can't live without tempered glass like me can try this method.

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jun 19 2017, 06:48 AM) There's only 4 screws after removing the plastic cover you won't miss it.in this picture i've already removed all 4 screws at the corner before installing the tempered glass for good measure. After sticking the glass I screw back but not too tight. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jun 13 2017, 02:24 PM) I suggest that you do proper survey before committing. quoted from lenovo service center, RM500++ depending on the currency Sammy Galaxy A7 (2016) does not cost that high: [attachmentid=8896951] How about the official Lenovo Service Center...? thinking to buy from taobao and DIY QUOTE(sitescope @ Jun 13 2017, 07:16 PM) no OEM screen found yet |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jun 26 2017, 02:39 PM) FYI... Thanks.. bought it from taobao and it is original parts. Seems manageable and pretty easy with youtube guideline. With that price, I'd rather let the LeMoto Service Centre to handle this kind of repair... at least we can always refer back to them if anything goes wrong within 7 days after repair... Lemoto has no parts and have to courier in as well, waiting period up to 2 months. This post has been edited by wtm0325: Jun 26 2017, 04:08 PM |

QUOTE(wtm0325 @ Jun 26 2017, 04:07 PM) This is very true...As for me, I have 2nd phone (Note5) as standby if anything goes wrong with primary phone (aka P2...). The service centre can take their own sweet time to repair... But actually, LeMoto should offer the owner a replacement phone while servicing. This is where LeMoto is lacking... I have no idea for Lenovo. but Previously Moto is under Brightstar's umbrella. After Sales service are terrible. Lenovo should be better than Brightstar.
