Hmm. Care to share more information on 11 Street and Giant? When were these transactions made?
I still got cash back in July. Giant is a straightforward groceries merchant.

Fave only gets 0.2% as shown on first page.

Why Fave only 0.2% instead of 5% for online?

Still considering to cancel CR card. For me, only useful for Celcom auto debit.

Just keep coz free annual fee? My cr limit is very low for this card.

Still surviving with 23 cards. Due to system glitch which is yet to be fixed, once it's OK, it should be 24th card.

However, coming November i will cut some cards like CIMB and AmBank. Not completely cutting off but keeping only one card for each of these banks and I shall reduce the credit limit to a very minimal amount.

Very impressive with 2 dozens!!!
I've got 11 cards and thinking of dropping CIMB CR and replace with PBB Quantum cards. Friends think I'm over the top with almost a dozen.

Yes, you raised a good point there.  smile.gif Well, there is no method which is 100% perfect.  sad.gif

Correct me, if I am wrong. In terms of cash rebate, the only worthy credit card from CIMB is this CIMB Cash Rebate Card (till 31 October 2017). Since CIMB is downgrading the cash rebate of this card, there is no other worthy card from CIMB anymore. So, I may not have the need to apply for a new credit card from CIMB in the future. I do not suppose that CIMB will introduce a new credit card, that is worth our consideration.

It is extremely unlikely that CIMB will reinstate the online cash rebate of this card, even with mass cancellation of this card.

They might reinstate some sort of online cash back down the road, as in the case of MBB 2cards. We just need to start cancelling cards that are no longer useful.
