Yay.. Got call from CIMB and they approved to my Cash Rebate Adjustment for Lazada. They mentioned because it was charged under "Standing Instruction" Mode instead POSMODE 81 thus the cash rebate was not calculated. They said that Lazada is aware about it and changed to the correct mode. Hopefully the 5% Rebate issue will be resolved for the coming statement.

Thanks smile.gif
How long it takes to credit back the CB? My previous case was 2 working days after called but this round CS told me wait till next statement  dry.gif

Ya. About 2 days reflected in my CIMB Click. But my first request was not entetained. After I call CS for second time and reported the Aug cashback was not credited, then they only call me and credited after 2 working days.

yes, 1% border fee. still better than 0.2% cashback if you perform transaction directly using cimb card

The problem already resolved for the Sep. I received 5% cashback for my spending in Sep.

Oh well, I guess it's time to cancel this card as well. Going to apply PBB Quantum with the current promo offered by Ringgitplus to replace this card, as I used it mainly for online transactions. Another option is the new MBB Barcelona visa signature card, pretty decent to be used as a 'general' transactions card, as it does not have cashback restrictions on specific categories.

Oh man.. that Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Signature is really a good card...

I got one cash rebate of around 1.XX
Description also vague. Only put "cash rebate"

Same too . I saw it in CIMB Click.. A sudden cashback in the middle of the month and not after the end of the statement date..

The 5% cashback will be ended on 31 October, I wonder it is based on txn date or posting date.

Mine transaction on 28/10 and posting date on 29/10, so not related to posting date or transaction date

Look like i see wrong, my transaction on 31/10, and posting on 2/11, and only received 0.2%
*
I got the same answer when i called CIMB. Even the Customer Service also confused on how the Cash Rebate should be calculated. Saying that it will be in the statement..

After I calculated using Excel, compare based on 2 scenario, (Posting Date and Transaction Date) , I can confirmed that they are based on Posting Date instead of Transaction Date.
Those Transaction posted before 31 Oct entitled for 5%, but those posted from 1 Nov entitled for 0.2% only.

I think I need to write an email to CRU for this.

Finally, someone from CIMB Call Centre able to understand the situation. After he verified, confirmed that my Cash Rebate for Online Shopping was calculated based on Posting Date, instead of Transaction Date. But As per check with CIMB CS several time, as long as the transaction is done before 1 Nov. It will be entitled for 5% instead of .2% (Local Currency ) or 2% (Overseas) transaction. He logged a report for further checking. Hopefully can recover the missing cash rebate.

I emailed dispute for online transactions on 28 Oct but posted 1 Nov and didn't get 5%. No reply yet... Been 3 working days.

Just call the CIMB Card centre, tell them that the transaction before 31 Oct posted in Nov is not credited with 5% Cash Back. They will assist you accordingly . I already reported via calls and pending their further investigation.
