Those who are applying cimb credit card for the first time to get the free gift, one advice for you all - screen shot the promotion page and save it until you actually receive the free gift.

I applied and got mine in April after seeing the Lazada RM150 voucher free gift. Now it's July and I still haven't received it. Called cs, he told me that he cannot find this promotion in their system. wth

so we just need to wait and see whether Lazada still eligible as online spending since the transition to Hellopay. I was quite flustered yesterday to realise that the payment channel is Hellopay, anyways just wait and see in the next statement, whether it is still eligible for cash rebate.

If not, might as well change the way I spend on Lazada.

if his statement is 28th like most of us having, he wouldn't know the answer, right?

I got this card from CIMB since 2 years back and never use it until recently (coz i use CIMB Cash Rebate Card more).

I remember when the bank offer this card to me, they say is Free for life (that time this card was just launch if i not wrong even i din meet the requirement )

2nd years holding this card i receive a post mail say that my CIMB acc does not have 200K , ask me top up or else card will be cancelled....

Call CS , CS say ignore it , the card is offer 1st 3 year FOC... no matter account got 200K or not....

I remember one of your great advices, which is to cancel unattractive credit cards, so that we can become "new-to-bank" cardholders after 6 months, and enjoy better card sign-up benefits. So, I plan to cancel my CIMB Cash Rebate card, after my next statement date.
