Anyone entitled to cash rebate from Guardian Wednesday Rebate Campaign?
I have a tiny question about that rebate...
I swipe the Cimb CR credit card at Guardian (more than RM200 amount)  On 7/6/2017, but receive ZERO rebate.
I called to CIMB CS , they say the rebate will show at next following month statement.
But until now i checked the statement and its still no any credit rebate for that.
I call CIMB CS again and now they say i have not entitled because T&C said Rebate given out under this Campaign is limited and is capped at RM25,000 per month and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.
OK...refer to the T&C , then i'm quite angry and starting shoot the CS....... bruce.gif
*"Campaign is limited and is capped at RM25,000 per month"  - i make the transaction at FIRST Wednesday of the JUN , so fast the 25k finish in FIRST WEDNESDAY of JUN??  vmad.gif
im request a proof such as Eligible Customers LIST File, CIMB CS Keep say already uploaded at website , i checked many time and FOUND nothing about that Eligible Customers LIST

Like this can i report to BNM for help?
25k rebate finished in FIRST DAY , all customers go guardian shopping happy happy and pay 200 above to join the Rebate Campaign and after a month only found that YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE CUSTOMERS. GOOD STRATEGY! puke.gif

First come first served and very limited quota. You should have spent after midnight of first Wednesday, at Guardian online or Guardian stores still operating in early morning. If u wait for stores open at 9am/10am, maybe too late!
I once spent RM400 at 9:05am and got 50% rebate on previous campaign (27/3/2016).

Even if you spend at 9am/10am on the first Wednesday at Guardian stores, it is likely you will not win the special cashback. You should buy at Guardian online or at physical store (eg at KLIA) after 12am Wednesday!

I see, so I guess me myself won't be able to utilize cash back either. Enough with some petrol and groceries shopping.
Having huge limit might turn into cancer, ruining my financial. Do you know how CIMB evaluate to increase the limit?

Ask if CIMB will give you RM50 as an incentive!
No harm to increase the limit and get the incentive.
You can request to cut your limit a few months later (I asked CIMB to cut my limit by 60%)!

Already accepted.
I don't spend much, but I settled all credit within time frame. And I don't even utilize previous limit of 12k.

I applied for HSBC and Hong Leong card, they rather strict than CIMB and Maybank. Both can't pass due to postal address didn't match my ic or something similar.
Yeah, I don't really mind if they gonna reduce the limit later, but for now at least I can do something if emergency coming.
This is the second time CIMB offer me credit limit increase from 5k to 12k now 21k. Where to ask this incentive thing? Anything I can refer on?

Sounds good. Any link whereby I can learn how to use it to track my spending with all my credit cards ?
*
Using Excel (PC version is more user friendly).
1 spreadsheet is the summary of Credit limit, Outstanding Balance (CL-OB = Available Balance), Statement date, Due date.
(So you know your total credit limit, total outstanding balance)
Each spreadsheet for each credit card, transaction date, location, amount, payment etc.
you update manually and daily and verify (check the transactions and balance online at respective card issuer).

Have a look at Hong Leong Wise Gold, you can get 10% on groceries, but 0% on some others, and if you can commit to spend RM2000 a month.

Morning everyone,

I was "selected" to be offered a pre-approved CIMB WORLD Mastercard after receiving SMS about it and having it appear in my CIMBClicks a couple of days later. Was wondering if it's worth the hassle as I'm more than happy with my CIMB cashback card.

What think?

In term of cashback, CIMB Visa Infinite (0.5% / 1%) is better than World Mastercard.
