i noticed in my statements, cimb charged extra from what expedia charged.

where should i check & complain?

Just to update. I think there's no problem with paypal. According to the CS, apparently my transaction was tagged under online insurance, hence i got 0.2%.

Anyway, i'm still appealing as it is NOT online insurance.

Hence be careful with untested website.

QUestions about bonus points in Cimb Clicks.

What is the point of bonus point transfer? I can transfer my points to my credit card but what does it do?

Thought my bonus points should have been tied to my credit card in the first place?

Using Petronas CIMB CC card. I've gotten the cash rebate card, so switching to spending on that card instead. So far doesn't seem like that 1k points i tested by transfering to the cash rebate card do anything at all.

Anyway, I just realised I really shouldn't have applied for the Petronas card. I use less than Rm100 per month for petrol, and the rebate is a flat 3%, while cashrebate card gives 2% rebate on petrol, a mere difference of RM1 in my case.

Is there any downside to keep using the petronas card (extra annual costs, dont spend enough annually on petronas card and incur extra charges)

or should i just cancel it and use cash rebate card all the way.

My spending habit has been to use the card for rebates, always clear the cards during payday and not carry forward any extra.

CIMB really p*ssed me off... When i saw my cash rebate, i immediately rang the CS and to my surprise the CS told me Wix.com RM427.63 and aliexpress RM34.04 was not deemed as "online transaction" set by the merchant? Wanted to lodge a complaint but CS said nothing can be done from CIMB. So, i quickly make the full payment and asked to terminate all my cards with CIMB  

Called up for termination, I have excess balance in my cc request transfer to cimb savings. Cs said they will transfer to my maybank acc because last time i paid up via maybank transfer

Any charge for the transfer?

I tried to compare and its not 1% that I thought CIMB is charging for admin fee, more like 2%

I think this may be irrelevant for now.

But I just want to confirm that MPHonline is eligible for 5% cash rebate for online transactions.

But now, I guess it is only eligible for 0.2% after the amendment. 😅

Why I cannot apply credit card through online? It keeps show error after i complete the details..
