i don't facing any problem on wifi. if you connect to different wifi connection, is the wifi signal still drop?

Haven't try with different wifi connection yet.
I wonder if it's actually my router problem? But other phones connected to the same wifi doesn't have this issue though.

if other phone doesn't face this problem, maybe the phone itself.
maybe you can try and error where only your redmi phone connected to the wifi.
scare maybe other phone tarik the signal?

I do but only during playing Mobile Legends (I don't play other games much). DC during gaming is pretty annoying. But previously on other modem/router, I didn't face this problem.

Yes! I also only play mobile legend at the moment. Always DC when using wifi so need to opt with mobile data.

Been thinking to switch to custom ROM tbh to save some space and better performance.

If you connect to 5Ghz WiFi but not playing near by router ... possible.
5Ghz is fast but not good for distance.

Anyhow both possibility exit. Test 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz see how the result.

I'm undecided between Redmi 9s or the older versions, Redmi 8 or Redmi 8 pro with specs for similar price. See some people complain about dust in camera on Redmi 9s.

No such thing for my wife Redmi Note 9s. Good battery life.

I'm using Poco X3 NFC now. Higher budget compare to 9s but better camera 64MP Sony.

If lower budget then recommend Redmi Note 8 Pro. Quite good review and many offer nowadays.
