after looking through about hundreds of comment in taobao, the general consensus seems to be
1. no ugly halo effect
2. very soft and covers the whole screen
3. doesnt feel like there's a screen protector at all
4. harder to apply than tempered glass.
5. bubble automatically dissapear.

seems to be similar to s8+ soft screen protector.

Just to update, on my RN4, MIUI 8.5.4, GPS no locking issue
Just now tried for half hour with Waze, GPS lock fast and no drop connection

Only going to get a sim for it by October so just seat around for now
So far, wifi only, no sim can last 8 9 hours SOT with no issue
Is that a good battery consumption or should I expect better?
Overall, pleased with the purchase but wish more manufacturer will make smaller phone, 5.5" quite hard to use one handed

Which one of these 2 variant is better?

or

I just got the phone for about 1 week. Today only found out the phone gps problem   

So, the 4G sim is the problem? Then how to solve? If remove sim restart works it is not a long term solution. Means I can't use the sim  dang it

Having GPS issue too.. restart to fix the problem.. what I find out is when receiving call or making call gps problem will come back.. need restart.

MIUI 9 solves GPS problems.

Im on miui 9. GPS still an issue. Redmi note 4x here. Anybody tried bringing back to the shop and seek for comments?

Back to the GPS issue, when I was in Bangkok, it seems to be fine but when back to here, it is not as stable, I got a friend also having the same experience. This leads me to deduce that for some reason, GPS reception here is pretty much not stable or poor.

I went that shop this evening.. she did change lcd digitizer only not the frame. Price include installment rm200. Still stubborn to apply tempered glass because of hideous look. Haha. One more thing the navigation button has no more light visible and the display contrast for "cool" is a bit warmer/yellowish. I know bcos i have two phone of this model.
