Is it better to get a note 4/SD625 from Lazada(with warranty by Mi) or a note 4x/x20 from directd(inhouse warranty)?

If you just want a phone straight away on and use , goto a MI authorized dealer and get a official Malaysia sealed set (SD625).
it will have OTA updates and you dont have to worry about ROM being customized and not able to get updates.

If you know how to flash ROMs and things, MTK x20 will be more fun to own because processor is faster and you can find it cheaper , and it is more "tweaker friendly" (no need to unlock bootloader). Flash in a Global/China Official ROM it is as good as new phone with OTA updates all working rclxms.gif

It's 799 to 949. 150. Ringgit difference . Not 200.
Apple ask for 500 ringgit just for doubling the capacity also everybody buy as usual .

Very worth. Let me share a tip : during month of April, use Samsung Pay and stardard chart card to pay when you shop for anything. There is a 20% cash back in your bill max 100 ringgit. If you buy Xiaomi end with it next week. Immediately you received 100 ringgit cash back .
But limited to I think 100,000 ringgit to offer as cash back. If already exceed then no more lor.

Note that the cash back will reflect as CR in your May bill. You still pay 949 at the counter.
Every purchase will get 20% cash back .If you pay your purchase as two 450 and 500 payment then you get 20% of 450 and 500 also. That's 200 ringgit lor. Dunno if it will work?

Hi, can ask if Digi VOLTE can work on Redmi note 4??

I've check to enable VOLTE on the phone, but when make/receive calls it always drop to H??

Using the same sim on an iPhone 6s VOLTE works.. So I guess can rule out sim card problem. How can I use VOLTE on the Redmi Note 4??

Thanks

Thanks for the good explanation!

It's for my dad, so I'll probably get him the SD625 then.
Now just need to decide between current note 4 or the 4gb ram version hmm.gif

Don't be swayed so easily.

My redmi note 4 is smooth

Heck even my 3+ years old Mi3 is smooth and they updated till android 6

Used ram is good, too much unused ram is wasted.

True. Is bought for my parents.
Think should be sufficient for them

Additional 100 for 1GB ram. I expand 32GB one the 3/32GB version about RM55 for the memory card.
see you want to spent the additional 100 or not .

On a side note, which are the mi official distributors? Searched on their site and only see them selling on lazada, no other mention..
