Good day guys. Need advised from all user of RN4 here.

I'm planning to find a replacement for my Redmi Note 3 Pro as the screen is crack.
Currently I have 3 option in hands.

1. Replace the screen of my Redmi Note 3 (Cost RM170)
2. Jump ship to RN4
3. Jump ship to Mi Max

Which is the better option?

I just got a note 4. I cannot save pictures to sd card. I formetted the sd card in the phone. When i go to explorer, there is no option to move files to sd card. In sd card i cannot create a new folder. I have andriod, dcim, lost.dir and miui. I cannot add any more

Hey, would like to ask you, should i get Mi5s (2nd Hand) or Redmi Note 4 SD 4GB, will redmi note 4 last me another 1 or 2 years?

if you like RN3 and want to save money then option 1.

if you are looking for an excuse to change to new phone and don't mind paying more then I suggest you got for RN4 (SD625) if you want to maintain screen size.

if you don't mind larger screen then get mi max 2.

Both phones are using SD625. This SoC is a bit slower than SD650 in RN3 but the performance is not really that bad. Some people says it actually feels smoother in the SD625. Maybe due to better optimization from miui. The number one thing great about SD625 is the battery optimization. Currently the best in it's class. Mi Max 2 can last for 10h screen on time. It can take you 23 hours to drain the battery watching video non-stop.

Personally though I would go for option 1. Cause RN5 is going to launch soon.

no problem for rn4 to last for 1-2 year
but mi5s is way faster but rn4 battery life is greater

i rather use my rn3pro vs rn4 3gb ram coz im gaming abit too

So RN3 overall win RN4? Despite the 3GB Ram VS 4GB Ram.

Still struggling whether should i get mi5s 2nd hand or rn4

Grab rn4 fromm shoppe last night... For rm 820 my set... Quite expensive.. Huhu..

My rn3pro only 16gb..always low storage

Performance camera wise. Get the mi5s
Only get the rn4 if u don't need extra speed and need that big storage and battery.

Else I keep my Rn3pro 32gb

The redmi note 3 is faster but has about 30% less battery life

You decide performance + save money or battery life

Mi5 dun talk lah. Stupid battery life but again very fast.

To put into context

Mi5s 4 to 5 hour screen on time - best performance CPU - some heating issue - rm1xxx

Redmi note 3 6-8 screen on time - mid range cpu - get very warm when playing intense games - rm6xx for 3/32 (max spec btw)

Redmi note 4 8-12 screen on time - lower mid range - barely warm when playing intense games - rm8xx for 4/64

You decide

I would rather wait for Redmi Note 5 tbh because it will have redmi note 4 battery life and redmi note 3 (even better) performance

Estimated time launch in Msia and price? Maybe another 6 months?
