nice review! I'm getting one to replace my current Mi Router Mini. Have you got a chance to stress test with multiple devices? Would like to know how MU-MIMO fair because I have a lot of China branded smart gadgets like smart plugs, IP cameras and so on..

QUOTE(JayceOoi @ Apr 16 2017, 11:39 AM) multiple active connections (at least 4).. This router supports 802.11ac wave2 (or more specifically MU-MIMO) which can handle multiple active connections without compromising the speed and performance. wave 1 routers will need the share the available shared wifi space and thus performance are impacted when more devices are connected, the wave 1 routers usually serve connected devices by serving them in a queue basis. Wave 2 routers on the other hand can handle it simultaneously. This post has been edited by maxcheam: Apr 16 2017, 12:54 PM |
