Is it 4-pin connector (molex) have 2-wires & fan like connector only 1 wire?
if that so; 4-pin molex provide full 12V power from PSU, so full speed according to it's spec. Fan connector-like provide speed reading only.
You have to mod the 4-pin either convert to 7V/5V (fixed speed) or change to 3p/4p fan connector & connect to your fan controller for control the speed.

QUOTE(beetch @ Apr 11 2017, 04:33 PM) Molex i didnt notice how many connector but i did notice the tiny fan type connector has 2 small wires. Should be PWM & speed reader. You can control the speed thru motherboard, provide that your motherboard have the 4-pin fan header. This post has been edited by kherel77: Apr 11 2017, 05:08 PM

QUOTE(beetch @ Apr 11 2017, 05:08 PM) But how come i use fan controller cannot control? I am using lamptron fc5v2 if not mistaken That fan controller adjust speed using voltage, not PWM.
