I thought it was a literal ban on virtual cash and even accounts?

excript: yes, blizzard and their team of lawyers have been colaborating with ebay.com and other auction/sales site to shut down WoW virtual property transactions.
apparently, the deal is sealed. viper: reading the TOC helps? oh wait... (fyi, posting on the wow forums would result in a much harsher flamebait and, to an extreme extent, getting your account tranced and suspended. it is an offense btw for not understanding the TOC and pressing accept, and by pressing accept, ur under the mercy of blizz's lawyers. also come to think of it, it would be hilarious if blizz sneaks in a "by pressing accept, your soul belongs to us, good game" however, some part of it is quite true, gg wow addicts myremi: ur correct |

Yea. It was reported on InTech of The Star back in January 2007. All sales of virtual goods have been banned with exceptions like Second Life and another game.
Sucks doesn't it? 1000g gets me enough money on paypal to play WoW for 6 months free.. >< |
