anyway... for food problem.. different dog need different food.. try to buy the smallest pack of food.. for example.. sample pack.. share with ur friends... or ask some from the breeder (pay him of course.) .. because dog may be choosy on food.. or allergy on certain food... observe his poo everyday to make sure he is healthy..

training is easy after ur puppy know his/her name.. but i see a lot of student in uni who is petting a dog don't really train the dog.. but just playing with him/her daily.. this is not good. .at least u must let him know 3 command... which are "NO!" "SIT" and "COME".. always say no when he want to do something bad... for example.. poo.. or eat whatever thing on the floor.. my sugar(pug) never take his food for 5 mins.. if i point to her food and say NO.... it is very useful to teach "NO" everytime u feed her/him... ask him to sit first... and say wait... then u pour the food in front of her......... if she/he is trying to eat it, say no.. push him away ... ask him to sit again... and command "take" ..push him to the food..

toilet training is very important... but first thing u must make sure 3 things.. place to sleep.. place to poo.. and place to eat.... human and animal are naturally know how to differentiate this 3 things.. you will never poo in ur bed room.. and animal never eat their meal at the place they sleep (unless they have babies)...
so... train him to poo at the place which is near to drain.. or toilet.. but the problem is when.. and how?? when... usually dog will poo or pee after they took their meal.. or after exercise... remember.. always keep talking or contact(touch or whatever) when he/she is taking the meal.. so that when ur pup grown up, you are able to take his food away while he is taking it halfway (some ppl never care their dog when taking meal, so the dog will attack the owner if owner try to get his food away .. or owner just touch the dog head when the dog is having his meal... do it during puppy day... he will never atk when he is adult) .. ok.. after meal.. bring him to the spot u want him to poo.. let him walk around.. wait untill he start poo... when he is done... must praise...

Beat is not necessory , but threat is good enoguh to teach a dog.. use the cain to hit the floor. or newspaper roll to hit its backside... but never use it on training.. only use it when he poo at wrong spot(pull him to his poo spot and scold or beat on that spot).. bite shoe..(must let him smell the spoil shoe before u punish)...

ok.. for a experience or inexperience owner here... don't think it is funny when i say this... try to talk with ur dog.. even though u and him are using different language.. but the tone from u .. he will understand... my pug will bark at me if i scold my girl friend in front of her(tried few times in the car)... she is cute and understanding.. speak more with ur dog.. share ur day ... u will notice her response really make ur day up...
my sugar don't like to be carry, she will struggle whenever u hug her... but she will be patient on hugging only when my gf cry or not happy..

p/s: had a bad time with gf 1 year ago.. but we are lovely now.. don't get in mind that im those guy who beat girl or 3rd party ...

LOL.. good explanation + the p/s thingy.. lol
anyway i would love to talk to dogs. as i also talk to my other pet even though they dun understand.. muahah..

how to train dog to wait?
sit i think is easy.. juz push the butt down and say the command "sit" if he does rite.. treat lo.

haha i guess to train the dog "NO" muz train him to sit and wait first..
*
wait need a lot of patient to do it ... let him sit first.. give a hand sign and shout "wait"... slowly get away ur dog.. if she try to move.. u shout and give hand sign again... if its not working... position him again... try to let him wait for 30 seconds first....

Wait and Stay command has different.. for my sugar
wait is define as stay at the place.. can down.. sit.. turn around.. but must on the spot..
stay is purely hold that pose...
i bring her to public class 1 year ago untill i start my degree course... study time too pack.. can't really attend all class and tired.. haha.. but i really dissapointed because my sugar never know how to "trick dead".. she know roll... sit.. stay .. wait .. go .. come .. down... stand... take... NO(must know and let her know this is serious word).... but at last.. my mum ban the "ROLL" because her back will be very very dirty ..

i remember there is 1 time.. my maid ask her to wait in front of the food... then my maid went to clean the dishes(usually let the dog eat after human dinner).. and my maid straight away went to shower , she forgot bout the command... HAHAHA.. who knows after the shower.. sugar is still staring at the food bowl.. wow.. she was so cute and patient that time..

p/s: i know my maid forgot, because my dog bark without any reason.. but i just look from far to see how patient she is

puppy is like a kid... teach when first contact to her.. mine is not good enough.. almost all the dog can do as well as sugar.. ill show her photo later... it is not inside my company pc ..

pity her.. start class when she just hit 3 month old.. by the time she already know sit and hand.... so ... if u are not teaching ur puppy..don't simply give command..

i remember my dog went jogging at Lake View, next to holiday villa in subang.. (because her class cancel)... first round she was excited.. 2nd half round.. she got tired... and keep the down pose don't want to move .. haha

skip meal is a bad habit for dog nor a puppy.. so .. make sure u let him know the hour of having meal.. if you can't finish in 15 mins... then ur meal will be gone... no worry of ur dog will die because of hunger... usually a dog can survive without food longer than human...

this incident usually don't happen on new puppy, mayb they never expect human will give them food.... once the dog is familiar with the house.. and family.. he will take his time to eat slowly.. i see my friend dog.. the owner fill up the bowl.. and the dog never care it much.. when i ask why.. the owner say " he will take when he is hungry" .. this is not good.. ant .. fly... bad smell.. and etc ...
