QUOTE(mudz @ May 16 2007, 08:30 PM) i got a toy poodle.. the colour is almost the same with ur picture.. erm.. i just brought my pup to check-up.. the vet told me my pup is healthy but it is very very risky as she is only 4 weeks old and she may fall sick anytime.. im very scared now T.T there is 1 thing im not sure.. some petshop tells me that i can vaccinate my pup when she is 6 weeks old but some says must be 8 weeks old.. which one is correct as i hope i could vaccinate her as soon as possible.. How come you own a 4 week old pup???!!! It shouldn't leave the mother so young!!! Anyway, 1st vaccine should be done on 8 weeks old. Following by 11 weeks old & lastly 14 weeks old. Usually petshop told you to give vaccination on 6 weeks old pup are wrong. Petshop ppls thinking are different cause their main concern is to sell off the pups to make profit. If the pup become to bigger chances the petshop selling off the pups are very slim. That why they practise give early injection so does the commercial/backyard breeders normally do. I strongly against this type of unethical practise & discourage ppls from buying pets from petshops & commercial/backyard breeders. This post has been edited by chrisoys: May 16 2007, 09:29 PM

Used deworm syrup only on young puppy!!! Not tablet!!!
Deworm puppy starting from 2weeks, 4weeks, 8weeks, 12weeks then every 3months once (you can start giving them tablet form after 12 weeks old or you still can continue finish the deworm syrup you brought).
For monthly heartworm prevention. Start give to your pup when they reach 5 months old!!! No early or late than that age!!!

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Jun 8 2007, 01:22 AM) My dog is considered a fast learner but I dont have much time to teach him. Anyway, he learn to do his business on newspaper about 4 months after I got him. 4 newspaper, size of The Star, scattered in 2 by 2 size. But sometimes, he still miss. When I let him out, he sometimes misfire on the floor also. But now big already, he also dont pee / poo that often so not so stress while wiping off the floor. Why don't you buy a tray size of 3 x 4 feet and put the new paper on it. It will be much more easy for you to clean the tray than mopping the floor.

QUOTE(joanalooidog @ Jun 11 2007, 09:33 AM) woah, feed so many supplements ah, so sayang ur dogs, haha......... I only feed them nutristat, which has the omega3 fatty acid. I think its enuf, but my vet told me that no need to feed other supplements wor, unless saw FIFI's fur dropping, skin dry or got problem, sick.....then only need feed supplement. So after finish the tube, i no need to buy supplement lah. hehe......... The vet is right Dog food kibble already enough for our furkid. Over supplement will only do more harm. Give supplement only when your furkid encounter illness, skin problem, & etcs

QUOTE(White Palace @ Jun 30 2007, 12:36 AM) Chris, u use this actually because ur dog got tear stain or to protect the eyes or any other purpose? All this while I been using it for my dogs keeping their eyes healthy. My dogs never have tear stain problem. Just give a drop each eyes once a week after bath will help maintain a healthy eyes. For dog owners have no confident using human eyes drop, you can go petshop and get one for doggy I think is about RM5-RM10 a bottle.
