Either DiGi has stepped up their game or I'm extremely lucky: made the order for Infinite 150 at 4pm yesterday, simcard arrives today by GDex and I'm already online now using their service: popped in simcard into Huawei E5786 and works straight away.
There's nothing else needing setup right? I read something about forcing specific radio bands to work here, does that improve reception/speed/coverage?

QUOTE(JungWoo @ Apr 28 2017, 11:11 AM) can share your location and speedtest? Aeon AU2: 5Mbps download 10Mbps upload. It's usually the other way round isn't it? I'll be using this while moving around, so location-wise it will vary. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Apr 28 2017, 11:25 AM

QUOTE(JungWoo @ Apr 28 2017, 11:24 AM) u mean ~5Mbps? quite low i can say. signal got 4G+ or 4G only? Oops, corrected. Yup, on the E5786, the signal kept switching between 3G and 4G. Not concerned though, I rather have no quota to worry about, and I already expect up and down speed fluctuation, since I'll be using this while moving about. Already have UniFi at home.

QUOTE(Neomax3 @ Apr 28 2017, 11:33 AM) if you lock on 4g I believe you might get better speed than 10Mbps How do you do that? I did a cursory glance at this thread, still looking for info on that.

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Apr 28 2017, 11:47 AM) want to ask you, when you bought the E5786, does it comes together with the AF18? What is the ethernet speed if included? 10/100/1000Mbps? Only the Mifi.

EDIT: Which one to set? EDIT AGAIN: Better speeds now: 12Mbps download, 9Mbps upload, set to "LTE-preferred" and "LTE-A B3+B7". At that kind of speeds I can stream my PS4 game of Persona 5 anywhere I want without quota worry! This post has been edited by stringfellow: Apr 28 2017, 12:30 PM

Better speeds now: 12Mbps download, 9Mbps upload, set to "LTE-preferred" and "LTE-A B3+B7". At that kind of speeds I can stream my PS4 game of Persona 5 anywhere I want without quota worry! Which is better, "LTE-preferred" or "LTE" only? I'm leaning towards LTE-preferred as a fallback, I assume that if there are no LTE coverage, it'll drop down to 3G. I'm also assuming that if it is "LTE only", if there are no LTE coverage, it'll drop back to nothing, zero connection. 3G is too slow to stream a PS4 game.

Anyone has suggestion of locations around KL area hat has at least 5Mbps up/down speeds? I'd like to try my Infinite and the places I've tried either have good downloads but poor uploads or bad on both.
