Hei guys, planning to get this infinite to replace my steammix 4mbps. However, I am still afraid of whether it is stable and suitable to be used as a home broadband? My test on digi prepaid on 4g was 15mbps dl and 15mbps ul on average. Isit recommended to register for the plan and terminate streamyx? Today tested a few times during day n night. On the other hand, when's the promotion gonna end ?

Of course worth to try. thumbup.gif
Moreover, it has no contract, can cancel anytime. On paper, it's until June but may be ended anytime.

You can hold your Streamyx for another week or two when your Infinite is activated or if you don't want to lose out the port, then downgrade it to the cheapest package.
*
Y downgrade? I plan to terminate the plan if can... if not then too many plan... lol money flies...

Do we need to pay upfront for the plan i150?

Not rich la just need internet for work and leisure  biggrin.gif  and im not sure my brother can play game or not using the i150.

If i can confirm my i150 connection is already good enough even for gaming, i sure cut the stimmix also.

Must get new modem setup first i guess

Your place can get high upload speed, i think that is a good signal.

Like fruitie said, i150 dont have contract. just pay and use the 2 month as trial, else go terminate biggrin.gif

Hahabhope the plan end at end of June... give tm some time to bring in unifi lite xp... if no then really jump ship....

Btw bro, how much to pay for digi infinite during registration? Rm318?

Kota Kinabalu bro. Yes, the network will suddenly down and it will only back to slow speed after few seconds. CS told me that there was no issue in my area. I wonder.
*
I tried this morning the speed also abit unstable ... few times try above 10mbps for both dl n ul ... but few times dl went down to drain , ul stays at leat 5mbps

I have terminated my 1mbps streamyx last week, I am very happy with my digi 150 now.
It is definitely a good investment for me.
I got 30mbps down and 12mbps up.

Where are you staying?
Have you confirmed yet your area is in digi 4g coverage?
*
Me melaka, confirmed got 4g connection. Highest i tried is 25mbps, but this morning i try highest less thn 10, anyhow gonna register and buy a modem to try... which modem the best? TPlink mr200 or huawei e5180?

During my evaluation period to test the 4g network, using phone is never stable for me..
So I leave it to fate and purchased a 4g modem/router.
Now everything is good, speed is stable.

I am using e5180, EE version.
The one without the telephone jack.
*
Oh... where u bought from and what price bro?

I'm sorry I do not know since I do not need the free phone call.
So I specifically looked for the modem without the phone jack.

Should be no problem to use the phone. But remind that you will drop to 3G during calls. To use voLTE, you must have hardware and firmware compatible devices.

I use digi infinite for 3 weeks. So far very stable for me. Speed average 25m(15-40m) and ping at 11-45ms. Sorry to say, ping is even better than laneline for my case(streamyx). If i am willing to invest a LTE-A device, probably stable speed at 50m, but i found no reason to buy yet (too expensive & nothing to do with high speed).

For modem, please invest huawei.
*
Thanks bro... Will buy huawei e5180 then... what's your modem using now? My area still not LTE-A
