You guys use this sim to make any calls or it is permanent fix to LTE modem? Want to setup for my parents... but everytime if they want to make call.. need to remove sim card and put on to phone... troublesome...

How long do you usually usb tether it?
Or only when you're at home?
Just worried it might affect battery if always charging all the time

I saw B310 is rm390 while E5180 is RM400.

Why would anyone choose e5180 over b310?

E5180 can accept external antenna?

i think the antenna works for me 

but need more experiment to check is it really working.

as for now, my MiFi never change to 3g eventhou i change the place after put the antenna at window

i have read few post about these 2 models.
e5180s-22 what they promote as CPE home grade
B310, they call it as CPE Enterprise grade.
Which i think the answer is obvious on this.

both devices have come with almost same but B310 have gigabyte Ethernet port where e5180 only come with slower type.
and i feel confused on e5180 is that from taobao, it say it have a thousand mah of removable battery but the english article they didnt talk about this.
Not sure whether which is accurate info hahaha.

I found b310 is way affordable and more outstanding in this situation. if u wan a fancy looking modem then maybe you should go for e5180 as the LED light on the top HAHA and some say that indicator is one of the disadvantage where it hard to determine the signal quality from sight
