found interesting discussion here: http://community.digi.com.my/t5/Network/Re...d-4G/td-p/19022

even if your device support connection of Cat12 (600/150 Mbps) LTE-A with 3CA it does not necessarily will support 4G Digi+.. what a bummer bangwall.gif
so this thing is a hit or missed  sweat.gif
*
then my E5776s-32 support 4G+ ka laugh.gif
is a Cat4 device sad.gif

i have e5330 as my old mifi from umobile.
just not sure if i can fully utilise digi infinite full speed.
thats why im looking at all options.

if you getting around 10mbps stable on your modem, consider good enough.
try bring around your modem and walk around town see what the highest speed you get.
if you getting 3x-4x speed in other place compare to your area, then no point getting new modem...
your place tower is congested and that is the only speed you get even you change modem..
not every one is lucky getting 40-50mbps all time..
there are too many factor to consider beside modem alone.
previously in my area, my maxis easily 40-50mbps... but now days, only 10mbps...

One weakness of pixi 4 is battery life

battery is small....give and take...
4G and cheaper..

QUOTE(starz92 @ Apr 29 2017, 09:13 AM)
guys, my area is located in the center of town (Penang) and in the middle of the 4g LTE-A area. I am at 11th floor of a high rise but speed are not stable. Is there any way to stabilise the connection speed?
My normal speed can go around 18~20mbps but after few minutes or seconds will drop to 0.1 to 2 mbps.. I don't mind having slower speed (ie 8~10mbps but I need to find solution to stabilise my connection)
Please help fellow sifus.
*I am using B310 modem which is not LTE-A capable but I just want ways to stabilise the connection
*
hv you try to move your device close to windows and test it out?
probably can get people to borrow external antenna to test out...
