Suspect device compatibility is causing ping time out here. At least for my case. Try you use smartphone and test directly see.
Use command prompt at Windows. Or PingTools if you have Android device.

tried on my phone is no issue so far.

QUOTE(No Reason @ Apr 21 2017, 10:12 PM)
I bought the digi prepaid to test the speed first before buy the infinite. Ran the speed test throughout the house and got a good speed around 15 - 20 mbps. And my thought is, 'nice speed'... so I proceed with the purchase, and the sim card converted to infinite within an hour.

But, little did i know that time also play a major role in speed..........

and now anytime past 8 pm the speed crawling to 1 to 2 mbps, sometimes spike to 5 mpbs, but cant hold consistently. its been 2 nights like this. Cant even streaming properly.. sad.gif

Can complaint solve the issue? what's the most effective channel to complaint?
*
Ytd night around 8pm I also faced the speed slow down to 4 to 10mbps...hopefully they are just having some downtime and not every night lols

Jigoku =.=

This is average speed inside my house, probably because I live in apartment. I can easily get 30-40Mbps outside.

just got my B310 but speed only at around 10 to 15mbps...
I tested on my LG 5X but speed quite unstable. is it due to 4g LTE-A capability on my phone?
Btw, how do I lock the frequency on my Huawei B310?

guys, my area is located in the center of town (Penang) and in the middle of the 4g LTE-A area. I am at 11th floor of a high rise but speed are not stable. Is there any way to stabilise the connection speed?
My normal speed can go around 18~20mbps but after few minutes or seconds will drop to 0.1 to 2 mbps.. I don't mind having slower speed (ie 8~10mbps but I need to find solution to stabilise my connection)
Please help fellow sifus.
*I am using B310 modem which is not LTE-A capable but I just want ways to stabilise the connection

Total lost? I dont understand what u meant...is it total damage?

Antenna inside the house just standing on the table facing the window.i find it works better away from window metal grill. Just put it inside where it has a clear view of outside and it should be okay.im in a kampung area where there are lots of trees.but still got good signals and my e5186 is in full signals.

bro your is your speed stable??

hv you try to move your device close to windows and test it out?
probably can get people to borrow external antenna to test out...
*
I bought 2 external antenna together with the modem but I dont know the spec of the antenna lols...came as a package from taobao (guess ciplak one). I already put them very close to the window but still the same problem..
Will antenna stabilise the speed? if yes might consider throwing another RM78 for this

Facing same unstable speed issue here with full bars 4G coverage. I don't think improve signal with antenna will help if you already have max and strong signal. That issue needs to be solved by Digi.
*
Seems like we are in the same boat..is there any feedback from Digi based on your complain to them?
I also don't think it is due to signal strength anymore.. I believe better signal strength might bring about better speed but the connection should be stable even with lower strength as long as the strength does not fluctuate.. Or is there any method to lock on the signal strength?

i think although full bar but too many users in the same network...

ya, if there's a way to lock certain portion of the speed and make it not fluctuate then it will be good enough for me. haha

Nope. Digi network team never get back to me. I believe too many complaint to handle. Or this is a known issue that can't be solved in short time. So keep delaying on me.

Anyway, filed complaint at MCMC. Let's see how this go...

So fast give up?
There may something can tune for better connection.

I also hope for any possible solution but I already move it everywhere near my house... the speed is super not stable..
20% of the time 20mbps ->the best I get
50% of the time 5 to 7 mbps
30% of the time less than 1 mbps..

Problem is it is not stable even if it is at 5mbps..it will suddenly die off to 0.1mbps bangwall.gif
I just want to have a stable internet connection for gaming and movie cry.gif

Not recommended unless you install it correctly. LTE is much more complicated, unlike 3G. You are better off try to place your modem at a better place.

I will use the antenna like this and call it a day. Even Cisco use this kind of antenna.

[attachmentid=8778482]
LMR400 is great but it is overkill for short run 1-3m. It may tear the antenna port out from your USB modem as it is really heavy. sweat.gif

I recommend LMR240. LMR400 is commonly used for in-building coverage by telco.

That 2 antenna in your picture is the one that come with my B310 lols I am better off using the built in antenna.

My i150 connection is very stable after i connect using ZTE MF93D borrow from friend  doh.gif

No more download speed skyhigh and then drop to zero.

Waiting for the omni antenna to arrive, if my MR3420 v2 + sierra 320u still failed by that time, then kena tukar setup already  bangwall.gif

Huawei E5186S-22A macam syok eventho my area dont have LTE-A hmm.gif
*
Meaning when using your previous modem you are facing the internet unstable issue but when using ZTE MF39D the internet speed stable d ?? You tried from morning till night d ar ?? Currently using B310 and speed super not stable.. like u said sky-high then drop to 0
