I'm not bro la.
It will, no worries. You just need a 4G device.

QUOTE(FantasyReds @ Apr 23 2017, 04:43 PM)
First bill? Isn't it RM150 per month? Breakdown of RM318 = RM150 first month + RM150 deposit + RM18 GST, no?
*
I don't recall Digi takes deposit. All will be offset eventually.

found interesting discussion here: http://community.digi.com.my/t5/Network/Re...d-4G/td-p/19022

even if your device support connection of Cat12 (600/150 Mbps) LTE-A with 3CA it does not necessarily will support 4G Digi+.. what a bummer bangwall.gif
so this thing is a hit or missed  sweat.gif
*
laugh.gif It's device issue. I know it especially after using OnePlus 3T 4G+ issue.
This guy's issue is definitely lies on his phone. It supports B3 and B7 doesn't mean it can work together.
Layman term: The device must support B3+B7 to get 4G+ here, if it's B3+B3 or B7+B7 will not get 4G+ here. Some countries use this frequency but not Malaysia.

Hence, it's very important to get the correct variant to get 4G+ work here.

For e.g., E5786 must be 32a and E5186 must be 22a.

QUOTE(stevenlee @ Apr 23 2017, 07:24 PM)

E5776 is not a 4G+ model.

A few. LG V10 H961N, OnePlus 3 and 3T A3003, Huawei Mate 9 for instance.

I'm in S17 PJ and using e5186s-22a router to test the Digi connection (Prepaid) first before signing up for Infinite 150.

S17 PJ is well within Digi 4G+ coverage but I only saw 4G connection the whole time. Maximum download speed is about 24 to 26 Mbps if I remember correctly.
*
That's strange because 22a is verified to be able to get 4G+ as confirmed by Holy Satan. hmm.gif Oops, I think it was kae7.

QUOTE(Neomax3 @ Apr 23 2017, 08:43 PM)
means that you have to pick the right device in order to achieve 4g+ and device specification alone is not good enough right?
I've found out Redmi 4X @ RM680 is using sd 435 that support 4G+ cat6.. then again will it work?
*
You have to pick the right variant to get. smile.gif
If it's Malaysia unit, I think maybe can get 4G+. If China sets, I don't think so.

I have a feeling it's not.

Anyway, I found one post which HolySatan shared earlier that it comes with a toolkit that can lock to specific band for E5786 and E5186.

now I think its whether manufacturer of these phone has enabled 4g+ on their phone or not..
for example mi max Malaysia sets does have band 5 for webe while ap sets are not available but you can unlock it yourself..
maybe its time Digi to advertise available phone that supports and which one does not so buyers later won't regret buying none-4g+ phone that thought to be one..
*
Well, it's just too many for telcos to list out.
Take OnePlus 3T for example, A3003 supports while A3010 doesn't. In general specs, OP3T does support 4G+ but not for countries like Malaysia or Singapore.

QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Apr 24 2017, 03:03 AM)
yes, because it require interband CA for 3+7 to work in malaysia.
and OP3T only support 2CA.
in the future more and more phone will support 3 CA. Therefore long as two of the band combination are 3+7, there will not be issue to conenct to LTE-A at malaysia.
if anyone is purchasing a phone only support 2CA, do check beforehand if the phone support band 3+7.
*
OP3T works but only for A3003 variant. I had a long argument with OnePlus team regarding this.

mi 5 with 3ca also did not manage to connect to lte-a.. so there is no guarantee that 3ca will work here nevermind 2ca
*
It goes back to the type of CA. If it's B3+B3, no luck here. If it's B3+B7 then can get 4G+ here, all our telcos are using it. smile.gif
I'm from a MNC telco vendor by the way. laugh.gif

It seems to support LTE bands 1,3,7,38,39,40 and 41.

You need to ensure it has Carriers Aggregation which I don't think it has.

Can you recommend which phones and routers that support Digi's 4G+ if you don't mind? smile.gif

I know E5186 22a and E5786 32a have but I'm yet to get mine to try out.
Phone models I have listed earlier.

QUOTE(Neomax3 @ Apr 24 2017, 12:24 PM)
need to clarify with seller before buying.. or ask seller to test sim whether support or not.. for a peace of mind just buy certified/tested mifi/router and use it hahaha  biggrin.gif

Provided you buy from local seller to try out and prove to you. smile.gif
