I bought the digi prepaid to test the speed first before buy the infinite. Ran the speed test throughout the house and got a good speed around 15 - 20 mbps. And my thought is, 'nice speed'... so I proceed with the purchase, and the sim card converted to infinite within an hour.
But, little did i know that time also play a major role in speed..........
and now anytime past 8 pm the speed crawling to 1 to 2 mbps, sometimes spike to 5 mpbs, but cant hold consistently. its been 2 nights like this. Cant even streaming properly..
Can complaint solve the issue? what's the most effective channel to complaint?
We almost in the same boat. Prepaid tested no issue. But actual testing with Infinite, I am facing YouTube buffering issue since day 1.
For me, phone call is the best method. Email and Facebook PM no response. Live chat is not helping much.
so now did your problem solved? What they asked you to do? or they just file a report and never heard from them again ever since?
Nope, just opened report yesterday after called. Need to wait up to 3 days for their network team to look on my youtube buffering and timed out issues.
Speed test with a DiGi prepaid first, if more than a 4 Mbps then it is worth it already, already cut Streamyx, Streamyx did offer RM30 rebate if no cut them
Same scenario, no fiber even 50 meters around all have it
Easy sign up, on DiGi website, Pay by card
Speedtest with prepaid is not enough. Actual usage might differ. For me with 150 Infinite, it is not stable and YouTube buffering all the time...
I bought 2 external antenna together with the modem but I dont know the spec of the antenna lols...came as a package from taobao (guess ciplak one). I already put them very close to the window but still the same problem.. Will antenna stabilise the speed? if yes might consider throwing another RM78 for this https://www.lelong.com.my/3g-4g-lte-mimo-88...7-01-Sale-I.htm
Facing same unstable speed issue here with full bars 4G coverage. I don't think improve signal with antenna will help if you already have max and strong signal. That issue needs to be solved by Digi.
Seems like we are in the same boat..is there any feedback from Digi based on your complain to them? I also don't think it is due to signal strength anymore.. I believe better signal strength might bring about better speed but the connection should be stable even with lower strength as long as the strength does not fluctuate.. Or is there any method to lock on the signal strength?
Nope. Digi network team never get back to me. I believe too many complaint to handle. Or this is a known issue that can't be solved in short time. So keep delaying on me.
Anyway, filed complaint at MCMC. Let's see how this go...
I am using 150 plan currently, speed around 35 mbps, unfortunately p2p download too slow, could someone recommend an adroid app which can download or stream movie with high speed?
Thanks
Work perfectly...
Too bad that I cannot enjoy this plan at my house. Download speed worst than streamyx 8mbps now.
