whoa.. that model support VoLTE, good enough if it can support Digi network

I'm thinking of buying either Huawei B310 or E5186. B310 is cheaper but only CAT4. While E5186 is more expensive, but supports faster CAT6. I have a question for those using B310, are u satisfied with it? Or would you prefer to use E5186? I would be happy if I can get at least 10Mbps.

Right now I'm using Huawei E5172-515s which only supports band 2, 5 and 7. Speed is a bit unsatisfying at around 3-5 Mbps. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as Digi has LTE on band 3 and 7, my current router cannot benefit from carrier aggregation.

not for my case...they still charge me from the day they post out which is 27/4 till 11/5(cycle end) RM75....but I only received and start using the sim card on 2/5.
should the bill only 10 day (2/5-11/5) RM50 isn't?

Guys, according to digi website there is no indoor LTE-A coverage at my house but outdoor LTE-A coverage is full. Should i invest in LTE-A modem and yagi/mimo antenna? or just stick with normal LTE modem?

Tried speedtest using my LG V10..but nt sure its support LTE-A or nt..the speed just barely 20mbps

Ya...LTE-A modem is quite pricey..quite dilema either wanna invest in LTE-A modem or nt..Haha

from gsmarena your v10 does support LTE-A just that I'm not sure it has CA support or not.. just like my phone though a cat7 and support lte-a from spec, there's no CA support does giving me about 20Mbps

Btw, whats the expected max speed for 4g vs 4g+ ?
Sometimes 3g hspa++ also faster than 4g , in some area, so its very confusing on this..
And some 4g modem support upto 100mbps dl n 50mbps ul.... but it is not 4g+ modem... so meaning i can still get upto 100mbps speed using normal 4g modem right???

if the seller state that it uses the bands below can we consider it as a safe buy?

That why that not a LTE-A modem can bring great speed to you if the circumference of the cell tower u using is under congested on Band 3 or band 7.
LTE is quite enought in this situation.
Band 3 may be strong but slower, Band 7 may be weaker but faster.
B3 + B7 may be balanced but refer to congest condition.

This is my conclusion after my testing on different area.
