Why are fat people so strong?
Well whenever I got to the gym, I notice a lot of fat guys can lift much more than a lot of muscular guys.
Some power lifters also look so fat
Why is that?

power =
big muscle + high ratio of fast twitch muscle + well reinforced pathway for central nervous system + good technique nothing to do with fat or not. |

You can hold more muscle when you are fatter. Also gives more bouncyness while lifting

Strenght level is defined by body weight ratio, not by number of plate one can lift, it is perfectly normal for a 100kg guy to bench 100kg. Thus u see weight brackets in competition or even in sports like mma.

Some ppl just want to get stronger. They eat whatever they like & don't give a shit about 6-packs. You don't know much muscular they are cause their muscles hidden inside the fat layer.

Fat people are strong as they have large muscles covered by fat. But their body portions are not symmetrical. So they lack balance.

You know eating is anabolic right?
And sumo wrestlers have the most amount of muscles compared to any other competitive athlete. |

yeah at my gym the strongest guys are not the typical bodybuilder types... they're quite chubby. but there is one guy who is quite slim but he can squat/deadlift/bench so much because he trains specifically to be stronger without putting too much size.
