hi!

i got this error everytime i start my pc, open or close a windows explorer.

Runtime Error!

i've been using symantec for a year but a few days ago i uninstalled it so that i can install kaspersky (as kaspersky could delete a virus in my pc and symantec couldn't). however after cleaning the virus,i uninstalled kaspersky and reinstalled symantec corporate client as my organization here wants each pc to use only symantec corporate client.however,this error start occuring since the installation until now.i've tried reinstalling a few times and also repair installation.but the error is still occuring...

please help me to solve this problem.thanx for any help...

and how do i clean the registry?

i've done as u told me to...but right during installing the symantec corporate client again,the Rtvscan.exe error popped up.so,any other suggestions?sometime i also receive runtime error when using yahoo messenger.

hmm... looks like the registry is really screwed. you have to manually go in registry and look for Kaspersky leftover this time. It is possible that during the uninstall of kasperky, there couldhave been leftovers. unistall symantec again. and remove all regitsry related to symantec and kaspersky and temp folder. And then reinstall your symantec after all that.
