Deputy editor of Xbox World 360 magazine, Rob Taylor, has completed GTA IV.

He was among the few writers who were invited over to Rockstar's offices to play the game first hand.

Religiously playing for 11 solid hours everyday, he was able to complete the game (barebones story) in 25 hours.

The UK release that was leaked seems to be playable in all region consoles EXCEPT the U.S. of A.


So technically speaking, it's not region free...but it's not region locked either tongue.gif


So it's safe to say the PAL variant is a safe buy.

As for the NTSC-U, we'll just have to wait 5 more days for confirmation

Euro PAL is ntsc-j compatible

don't know about Aus Pal, but who cares...it's censored anyway

AFAIK, it's 360. But then again, those with the PS3 version can give it a try.

most of the decisions to go out with a friend/woman over another can be recovered by going out with them once u're done with the current date/friend. These outings don't alter the storyline.

So don't worry if you have to reject outings later in the game because u're currently busy with another or a mission.

You can check the % of respect (friends) and fondness (women) in your stats screen.




However, there are missions later that will slightly alter the story, depending on your decision.
