seems like the main character this time have a close resemblance to Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov... read about it from kotaku.com but then i dont really find anything special about the trailer...
it didnt reveal much of the game itself but juz surroundings and certain landmarks, i agree that the graphic is better (duh~) but then i am hungry for more additional feature to the prequel of GTA (mp features)
still waiting for more info on the game..

At the time the trailer was released, Rockstar's servers for the trailer's official website became almost immediately overloaded. The trailer is about 1:03 in length, and it reveals that the game takes place (at least partially) in Liberty City, a fictionalised New York City, and an immigrant with a heavy Eastern European accent, who appears to be the main character. The character has a brief monologue: "Life is complicated; I killed people, smuggled people, sold people. Perhaps here, things will be different." Then the trailer ends with the "IV" logo.
The trailer features many familiar New York City landmarks, including a location resembling Times Square and the "GetaLife Building," a parody of the MetLife Building. All of the cars and buildings seem to indicate a present-day setting. The trailer uses a similar cinematic style to Godfrey Reggio's 1982 documentary film Koyaanisqatsi as it used Philip Glass's original music from the film (a section of the track "Pruitt-Igoe") as well as emulated time-lapsed filming. frm the way i see it.. he used to be a hitman in russia or sumfin.. came to liberty city fo a change as the debut trailer title stated. but im sure along the way mobs are finding fo him and im sure he'll be involved in another huge clan fights, cleaning all the mob gang in liberty city.. jst lyk frm gta iii to gta: vice city... there goes my hopes of player creation.. |

Hmm.. i just got a feel of Saints Row in my nearby game shop and i thought of when GTA IV will be reaching our shores? Anybody know when is the release date scheduled for this game? (its gonna get postponed anyway, good game always does  ) |

one of the main things that i am looking for in this game is better blood/gore effects, the previous gta the blood squirted everywhere like a fountain.. hopefully this one more realistic =D |

i'm a huge GTA fan, i've played every GTA except for london 1962 i think. but i have to admit i really enjoyed saints row because it introduced some really good mechanics that i'm positive will be used in GTA as well(too good to pass off) can't wait for gta4!

MS Smashes Piggy Bank To Secure GTA IV Episodic Content $50,000,000 just for that?? What the hell... J.Allard screw up their first chance of securing Rockstar exclusive... Now they are paying so much just for the exclusive episodic content? I think the money could have been spend elsewhere~

I don't think it's a waste.Imagine how many people with a 360 will be buying the game.Will it be enough though?But then,Bill Gates earn $250 dollars a second(so i heard).$50,000,000 will be like...meh..
