Hey guys, if any of you are going to the LanParty via the KTM commuter or any of the bus stops within Subang, do let me know if you need a lift to AutoSurf. I don't mind giving you guys a lift cos I live pretty nearby. I guess it's better than the alternative of being pawned by the taxi's in the area. Just drop me a PM yea?

I went to check out the venue- Autosurf, today. Very, very nice place. A whole room has been booked just for us modding kakis.  It's gonna be an awesome place to lepak. From what I've heard, lotsa looooooooooooooooooovely gifts n prizes. Wanna know what they r? U'll just hafta turn up to find out. brows.gif
*
I'm glad everything is gonna be in the room. At least everyone is close by rather than spread out here and there in the cafe. The 12pm open for public bit should be interesting as well. How big are the LCDs there? You bringing your 30" monster?

Hey dude. I can give you a lift if you can make your way to a LRT / KTM station within the PJ area. I'm gonna be picking up another guy at the Kelana Jaya station on Sunday morning and I wouldn't mind giving you a ride to Subang as well. Haha, I cant come all the way to Putrajaya cos my car is a realllll guzzler laugh.gif But if you can make your way somewhere closer, i'd be glad to help out.

errr...i'm kinda lost here...

if i take train from Butterworth to the main train station, how to get to the cybercafe from there ?
*
Grab a KTM commuter from KL Central and hop out at the Subang train station. Then from there, I guess one of us could fetch you from the station to the cafe.

Believe me. Don't skimp on the train ticket and try to save money by go for the upright seating shit. The backside really really gets sore laugh.gif A nice power nap before a lanparty is the bomb.

Haha, oh noes. Pizza and lanparties. Both have to go hand in hand no matter which part of the world you're in! blush.gif

Edit: I drove past Autosurf just now, and they've got a hanging Silverstone banner outside the shop and standing banners already.

Here's pics for the prize giving session (case-mods). Correct me if I've got the 2nd and 3rd places upside down. Pics of their rigs will turn up eventually laugh.gif

Shot of the prize table. Most of it were meant for the dota comp though =/
user posted image

Third place winner (coolice?). His rig was a massively overclocked water-cooled CPU.
user posted image

Second place winnner (z3r0717) with his Razer themed case.
user posted image

And finally (allnGap) who's your lighting daddy that came all the way down from Penang and heading back with an even heavier load!
user posted image

Finally, our ONLY lucky draw winner (sup3rfly) picking one up for the team. Everything else went to the Dota players. Oh the injustice... cry.gif See? We did not have the numbers! The rest of you that didn't come let the team down! laugh.gif

That was one LAN Party I won't be getting out of my mind for a long time. I'd like to thank all you guys out there especially members of this forum who were present there and provided me with the vast new modding-related knowledge I now have, not to mention getting to know so many of this community in person happy.gif

I think our highest regards should go to Silverstone, Inter-Asia, E-Devices and of course our dearest Moderno PC for their generous contributions towards this event, which I believe has became THE Sunday of ALL Sundays for most of us. Besides, credit also goes to several members of the media, Autosurf staff, Editor-In-Chief of PC Modding Malaysia - Mr. Prem and of course, never leaving out the all important ingredient, Uncle Ianho!! notworthy.gif

For those of you out there who I met but may not know be able to identify my nick smile.gif, I'm the so-called youngest guy at the event, with my Thermaltake Tsunami Dream smile.gif It was more than a pleasure meeting all you guys out there.

And for those of you who didn't manage to attend it, I have a whole album of photos taken during my full day participation today, so feel free to give me a beep if you would like to get this album from me wink.gif And watch out for updates and the event report from pcmoddingmy.com

Over and out...

Well said! thumbup.gif
