they told me that the OTP was triggered by the merchant website itself and nothing to do with Public Bank.

I personally think luggage more worth it.

Applied for my Quantum on 5 April and received SMS approval today. Can't see it in my online banking though.

not our fault. not pbb's fault (entirely) but they took the liberty to credit us the balance. it's all Lazada's fault 

2 quick ways to fix this :

1) lazada to reconfigure their CNP tagging properly so that banks can identify the transaction properly.
2) PBB blanket whitelist 'lazada' as eligible Online transactions (bypassing checking the MCC or CNP tagging, etc).

either PBB initiate this with Lazada directly (due to constant complaints from PBB customers!) or customers complaint to Lazada directly (due to incorrect configuration).

in fact, we should've complained to BOTH parties, PBB and Lazada.

Currently the workaround for DBKL for CB promo is using shopee? Any alternative?

just receive the call from PBB , they will credit back the cash back for lazada and taobao to me in next statement bill.

Saying it's a scam is too harsh, no? They're simply encouraging their customers to switch to e-Statement. Doing this benefits both side:

- It saves you money because you don't get charged by using e-Statement. Plus, physical statement is a hassle to deal with if you move a lot. And if you're lucky, you'll get a prize.

- It saves PBB money because they no longer have to manually print the statements and deal with the logistics of mailing each of the statement. Sending e-Statement can just be automated. It also improves their image by being earth-friendly.
