I went to Brickfields branch to enable full access for PBeBanking (previously only holding card with no savings account) but I believe the staff didn't fully understand the situation. She offered to add my cards/loan facility to eBanking manually by filling up a form, and said that future additions will need to be done over the counter as well.

But I wanted to have full access on eBanking to add additional cards online in the future. So I proceeded with opening a Basic Savings account to hopefully minimize any future hassles. All (manual) card additions will be reflected on the next business day. Let's see how it goes...

Right now I got a bad feeling that the CS staff didn't do it correctly for me Well I did perform thumbprint verification but not exactly sure if it was also for PAC. She did ask me to confirm on my mobile number though.

Able to gain full access to PBebanking now! It turns out that the CS did it correctly for me, with savings account opening and all. I also managed to receive PAC for setting Challenge Questions and setting PIN for my new Quantum cards too.

Their Product Disclosure Sheet/TnC doesn't say the MCC for the above categories. I'm testing it out at departmental stores and cinemas and will report findings when statement is out (on May 11).

Last time when i used at AEON Wellness (their pharmacy equivalent, usually next to the supermarket) also didn't get grocery rebate. So better use VS for supermarket and Quantum Visa for General Merchandise Store and Wellness.

Yes for PB Visa Quantum but no for VS. Coz AEON customer service counters are at General Merchandised Store i.e. Departmental store category.

Hmm...your situation with No. 2 is indeed something new and worth probing further. I usually use shopback+Lazada too. If somehow it doesn't get counted as Online, maybe it might affect Visa Signature's cashback as well.
