QUOTE(mot88 @ Apr 10 2017, 04:26 PM) Ringgitplus (RP) is basically an agent/broker for the the respective bank. Quite a number of negative feedback on their FB on hassle to get the lazada voucher. Personally I never had any problem getting the promised voucher from RP. Strangely though, my brother did face problem with the voucher. I applied first but was processed later, and I get the voucher earlier. He applied later but was approved a month earlier. However his voucher was really slow and even had to make numerous calls to hsbc to get his voucher. Basically, the bank will credit their comissions on batches (and fulfill conditions imposed by them ) and in return RP provides cardholder with lazada voucher., eg something like Shopback concept. Of course you cant chase the bank to pay RP faster as tht their internal arrangement. RP will also have lead time to process on their end. Tht the trouble if you are claiming gift from broker /agent as the voucher is provided by RP rather than the bank. |

QUOTE(tonytyk @ Apr 10 2017, 06:50 PM) I'm just referring to RP. Few years back, I also applied a card on RP for Lazada voucher. It's RM200 and IIRC, it's public bank card. Fast forward this year, I also applied hsbc on RP and successfully get RM500 voucher. I have no problem at all but my brother did face some problem with hsbc. Have to call many times to chase them for the promised voucher. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Apr 22 2017, 12:17 PM) No TAC. Reminds me of my previous encounter with St Giles Wembley Penang. Booked via their website and strangely no tac required. In reality, they do not have a payment system attached to their booking system. Instead they do the manual through the cc terminal. Its not a payment either. More like advance deposit which can only be reverted by them. They will charge your card properly when you check in. They also use the same method to ask for your deposit which will be reversed after you check out.But the app said "advance purchase.. Pay now.. Non refundable etc". But when I called up Hilton CS, they said that for many hotels, the charges are manually done by the hotel. The arrangements differ according to hotel and no way for customer to know. To be safe, I wouldnt use my PBB VS for this anymore. Many overseas online sites don't require TAC for the transaction to be online. For example, agoda, PayPal and Amazon. Also things carried out via many Apps. No TAC, but still online. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Apr 22 2017, 02:01 PM) For my Hilton case, the amount charged is full "real" payment which cannot be refunded. However, it was done manually. I can ready see RM9k+ on my unbilled transactions even though I'm only checking in in July. Not sure about that. I was provided with the receipt that didn't required a signature, and then a real slit which I had to sign for the same amount. I can't really remember too well since it was almost a year ago.I also booked Shangri-la around the same time through their website. For that one, they will only charge me the full amount on the check in date or if "no show". Since we can never know, there's a huge risk using an online card. Will use Amex or HLB Fortune in the future. At least can get 1%CB or 5x treat points. |

QUOTE(pvateme @ Apr 30 2017, 11:29 AM) many of us dont have saving account, and we still can create pbe online. dont need to go to branch. I want to register too... been wanting to ask but I did not see any link to register when I click on login. Only have first time login.you may refer to first page for the link to "Register Online Banking". again, which we have shared earlier, to those existing pbe users who wish to add new card and system respond with "no access right", it means you havent register PAC yet. this happen when you register pbe online, but not at pb branch. what you can do now is, go to pb branch to register PAC, you will then granted the access to link cards into your pbe. The FAQ mention have to visit branch to register. https://www.pbebank.com/Personal-Banking/FA...k-com.aspx#q621 This post has been edited by andrekua2: May 1 2017, 12:39 AM |

Will skip the next 2-3weeks since I had nothing more to pay... LOL I find that PBB posting date using terminal quite fast. Swipe at HealthLane around 5pm and already saw it when I registered for PBe yesterday night. Swipe Lazada around midnight but still havent seen it posted. QUOTE(David83 @ May 1 2017, 12:31 PM) No concern at Tesco and Giant. I always request them to use it especially when amount it small (< RM10). LOL QUOTE(MGM @ May 1 2017, 02:05 PM) QUOTE(justanovice @ May 1 2017, 02:26 PM) For my case, the cashiers will take my card and use wave without even asking me. I see. At first they would just pay wave. It just happened recently when I shop around Kepong, in Aeon Big and some pharmacy. They told me to enter pin for better security and added they received lots of complaints. Im not sure whats the complaints all about when its just small value items. Not sure if that is allowed. |

QUOTE(Bliz @ May 2 2017, 09:52 AM) PBB confirm very strict on the annual income requirement, submitted my documents for PBB VS ( 99k annual income ) they offered me platinum only since they said i didn't meet their income requirement. In the end i requested PBB Quantum instead and got my card within 2 weeks Really? When I submit the application, I wrote there 96K (my dad still use my name for income tax purpose). They still ask me to submit BE. Then I realized my dad used my name again for another company which added extra few which pushed slightly over 100K. I'm surprised they still entertain when I initially submit 96k in the application form. |

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ May 24 2017, 06:54 AM) did they credit back the 5x/8x promo cashback as well or it wasn't an issue at all? So fast week8? I thought week 7 now. I got my week8 cashback as well but curious about week9 more since this was the first week I spent using both quantum and VS to meet 8 transactions. Anyone got cashback for week8 or before by spending on both quantum and VS? On a side note, I received a call to confirm my delivery address for the luggage. I was trying my luck since I signed up through a trade department staff and only received 2 lock&lock tupperware. |
