Ok not saying it's bad. Imagine u drop your card and someone else who saw you spend earlier saw your pin. Wala 4x salary gone.

For me it's the opposite, higher credit limit blocks me from getting new cards. My salary amount doesn't increase as fast as new cards eat it up.

If you have 5 or 6 cards and total credit limit exceeds your annual salary then I think it's quite impossible to apply for more (even if utilization is only something like 10% of your credit limit). I had to cancel a card to apply a new one. Since then I've intentionally lowered limits on some of my 'temporary' credit cards (those which I apply just to get ringgitplus reward etc.) to avoid this problem

I submit my application (form & required attachment) on Monday night. Received SMS this morning that the card has been approved. Quite fast.

wah so fast, my quantum applied since last 2 weeks, not even processed yet.

an update, finally i received email stating that my application is under process. 

rejected for quantum, sien...

how long before i can reapply?

ya at first i kena the not in their record thing.

then i email them to confirm if they received my application, they send an automated reply saying yes.

then next thing i know, a letter by public bank saying rejected.
