to those asking about Yi DashCam Power Version quality. here is sample of what happened earlier today

Camera: Yi DashCam Power Edition. Attached to antenna box using 3M tape. Speed was around 50km/h i think

i cut the audio for this vid but i gave a good 2 second honk while braking

image not so good for 2 reasons -
1) camera not as good as other more expensive options
2) might be some loss of quality when i uploaded video to post here

a few points on what happened
a) she was driving very badly. come on lah, please stop at junction
b) i couldn't turn to lane on right (and nobody should not do it as a habit) as there was a car driving at faster speeds than i was, can see in the video

moral of story, to me low budget and crappy camera is better than no camera but if u can grab a higher spec, thats even better. i highly suggest to invest at least rm200 for our own safety
