Hi I am thinking of subscribing Webe mobile and use it with a 4G Wiresless Router in Tambun Ipoh. The 4G wireless rourter (TP Link) is pretty pricey and I want to make sure it works before I commit.

I have a few questions:
1. May I know if anyone has tried this before (using with 4G wireless router) and if it works?
Wireless router will work with webebroadband and will not work with webemobile unless you pay for tethering services.

You can add additional line under your friend's name not your name. All registered under one name. If you do any illegal activity and getting caught, your friend will kena first.

Has anyone tried boosting webe fdd band 5 850hz signal using repeater?
I was googling around and see this model (CDMA 800) posted at webe group
The frequency is within range of webe band 5 but not too sure about CDMA

Full Kit Mini CDMA 850mhz Repetidor Celular GSM 850 Cellphone Amplifier UMTS 20dBm ALC 65dB Gain Mobile Signal Booster Repeater

This type of booster / repeater will work with webe 4G. It will boost the signal and speed. For the best results you need to setup dual antenna to get benefit of MIMO technology.

I've never use repeater/booster before so I'm not entire sure what works and what might not
So for that link, as long as it's within frequency range, it can boost signal for 850mhz band 5? Doesn't matter if it's CDMA?
Do you have recommendation for dual antenna setup for mimo?
*
If you want to setup dual antenna, you need a modem/router that have dual external antenna port. In this case, no need to use booster/repeater. Just direct plug the antenna to them.

MIMO mean you get signal frequency from both vertical and horizontal. Also keep in mind that not all tower support mimo. With proper mimo setup you nearly double the speed. For example, with one direction antenna you got max 12mbps, then with mimo the speed will increase to 16-24mbps. This is from my test. For best results , use dual yagi or dual directional lpda antenna. Place one horizontal and the other one vertical, it's about 45degree.

To answer the question above, the CDMA will work well with webe 4g lte.

I'm sure this question would have been answered a few times by now but i didn't find a solid answer.

How does telco track whether you tether or not? And if they use some method, since it's android, isn't there a way to block certain info from being transmitted?

If you really want a solid answer why not asking their customer service via live chat or email their technician ask the details about methods they use.

Get cat4 huawei E5577bs-937 if you want a cheap modem that support triple band of webe. RM350. Ideal for portable webe broadband.

Other modem that support 3 bands is in cat6 and above categories that more expensive.

Just use it as you normally use.
U will be fine.
Don't install VPN, hack etc.
Don't spam business sms
Don't install PdaNet

Stable as celcom coverage basically just u won't get the speed as celcom tho. If u don't need speed but need unlimited quota, u will love webe

My light usage on normal day 2gb plus only

I'm using more than 300gb monthly without any problems since registered webe 7 months ago.
See some people post here if more than 100gb usage will got attention from webe.?
