QUOTE(jackysoo @ Jul 18 2017, 11:54 PM) Thank you, Mr. Gray. Webe called me asking if I am interested. Looks like I can't subscribe unless I get a new modem. Not sure if I want to invest in this. Salute to you for giving me such precise answers!! Thank you sir! QUOTE(jackysoo @ Jul 19 2017, 12:01 AM) BTW, any reasonably priced mifi or modem you guys can recommend with band 5 and 40 and perhaps also compatible with other carriers like Celcom, maxis and digi? Bear in mind Webe Mobile's SIM card cannot be used inside a mifi or any other USB dongle modem. It will detected and block your data usage. So you must have a smartphone with LTE Band 5 and Band 40 supported in order to use their data services.
Different with Webe Broadband, postpaid data with monthly quota, but you can tethering anyway freely.

QUOTE(heavensea @ Jul 20 2017, 05:08 PM) This surat kinda useful, like transferring car and etc. I need an unlimited postpaid (actually my usage is around 100gb/month only), that's why I die die do surat sumpah like a coward (f it, on something I never commit). But I also log report to skmm and cc both of webe and skmm again. If you use 100GB / month, try Yes LTE Prepaid lah. Every RM30 topup you get 20GB LTE data. If you want to use 100GB data, you just spend RM150 only, no need to pay more for GST.

QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Jul 25 2017, 11:40 PM) I won't really trust these webe staffs, for all we know they might just work there for a few weeks or so. From the press conference that we saw, Webe mentioned that they play to deploy more band 40 LTE sites this year, but nobody knows for sure how's the progress of that. And about band 38, has it been officially announced anywhere by Webe? I don't think so. As such, it remains the fact the dominant LTE network for Webe at this point in time is band 5, unless we are proven otherwise. I only know YES 4G operates on band 38 and 40. I don't think any other carrier has bandwidth on 38. But correct me if I'm wrong. Looks like Webe only deploying Band 5 and Band 40 (LTE-TDD 2300Mhz) for their network aggregation technology. No news yet for them to deploy Band 38 LTE.

QUOTE(Ngto @ Oct 4 2017, 11:50 AM) I don't know why you claim yourself as extremely heavy user. btw, I just subscribed to Webe. Not received Sim yet, just ordered. Currently I am using Hotlink Fast 30/-. Free 1GB happy Hour every day. I watch Amazon prime TV Video Series. Just 30 min of FullHD viewing will deplete the 1GB data. Everyday I need to addon another 1GB data to complete watching a 40-60 min episode. 2GB per day x 30 days = 60GB per mth. And I consider myself an average user. If you struggle to hit 50 GB per mth then you shouldn't call yourself a extremely Heavy User. You are just an average user. 150GB - 300GB per 30 days is considered as average user. Lesser than that is considered as light user. More than that is considered as heavy user.
