QUOTE(MGM @ Jul 17 2017, 10:22 AM) QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jul 17 2017, 12:01 PM) QUOTE(derthvadar @ Jul 17 2017, 02:22 PM) It is fine when i am outside.is far better than celcom. problem is, when i sit inside restaurant, then webe is gone case. And maxis don't have this problem. And significant different when i view my house cctv via phone. Maxis no problem at all. Webe, sometimes too slow to load, but still OK, sometimes no signal inside restaurant Celcom, worst. maybe i have to stand 5 minutes not moving in order to get the signal. While i was driving, when drive too fast and switching between 2 telco towers, celcom is the most teruk one. Webe, still fine, sometimes karak also got signal. Got question to all mahaguru and sifu.
I have a USB modem Huawei E398 and also ZTE MF90 mifi. Can these support WEBE 4G at LTE speed? Webe only at 850MHz? Can work for these? Thank you. ZTE MF90 Spec: * LTE-FDD 800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz * LTE-TDD 2300(2600)MHz * UMTS 850/900/1900/2100MHz * EGPRS/GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz * LTE-FDD: DL/UL 100/50Mbps (Category3) * LTE-TDD:DL/UL 68/17Mbps (Category3) * DC-HSPA+: DL/UL 42/5.76Mbps Huawei E398 USB Modem Specs: http://www.3g-modem-wiki.com/page/Huawei+E398 |

Webe operates LTE on band 5 and 40. Most of its current LTE network runs on band 5. However it is upgrading more sites especially in Klang Valley, JB, Penang with band 40 LTE. As such, in your case, only ZTE MF90 can be used for Webe LTE. However, that is given that you have a band 40 LTE in your area, which I think is highly unlikely. So, perhaps just buy a new router that supports band 5? This post has been edited by Mr Gray: Jul 18 2017, 11:38 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Salute to you for giving me such precise answers!! Thank you sir! |

Bear in mind Webe Mobile's SIM card cannot be used inside a mifi or any other USB dongle modem. It will detected and block your data usage. So you must have a smartphone with LTE Band 5 and Band 40 supported in order to use their data services.Different with Webe Broadband, postpaid data with monthly quota, but you can tethering anyway freely. |

Is the 10Gb tethering a permanent feature of WebeM or for a promotional period only?
